Edit: My Grootclusive was just delivered! He's a bit sad all my other legends are not at the house now, he wanted to introduce them to his twigglings.

Shes basically just a green scarlet witch. They could've at least made her a new head instead of reusing wandas.

Hopefully, they will release a running change and gift collectors with an Outback Dazzler. Despite Hasbro's announcement that those days have ended, we're getting a T-bolts Shocker (???), so maybe there's hope...I doubt Outback Alison would peg warm.

To be fair, they did give her new hair.

That would be extremely cool! I would love an Outback Dazzler (though Disco dazzler is my preferred.)

Pipe dream: when they do Psylocke, they could give us an Outback Psylocke as well. Though of course, that would require a whole new mold. As I said Pipe Dream but daaaaaaaaamn it would be sweet.

IronFist, i prefer this one then the new one without the high collar...came in the mail today

Is there just one asshole out there buying all the Cyclops figures, or does Target just not get many in?

Testors and Citadel as Spyne mentioned tend to be the most widely used. Testors is pretty newbie friendly.

Odin BAF

The RIGHT ARM that came with Machine Man..is it the same Right Arm that came with Sentry??

I want to say no but I cannot find my Odin BAF. One set is supposed to be Odin arms and one King Thor arms but they may have reused the right. Helpful, I know LOL :D

Maybe the costume choice they used? I personally am not a fan of that look for Polaris.

Some asshole is buuying them all as well as moderate collectors, as he is the "hot" figure I think in this wave as it's his 90's Jim Lee look. All the cases are 1 per figure except OML is 2. in other words they are getting equal Dazzlers, Cyclops, Polaris, Shatterstar etc.

I didn't think about Walgreens. I'm going to check at least 2 tomorrow. My X-Men collection is looking better and better. I'm late to the game, but my Deadpool from the Juggernaut wave arrived today. Got it for $28 on Amazon.

Yah, but its probably my least favorite one. Id have rather had a new head like enchantress got a new head instead of that weird top tail thing lorna has.

Yeah, but Thunderbolts Shocker is literally just one little paint application/tampo different from the normal Shocker they released. Doing Outback Dazzler would require a faaar larger change than that.

Very nice diorama

ariellagunas 03-15-2017 07:05 PM

As I waited so many years for Dazzler and Polaris, I bought two of each. I also do feel Polaris might be the pegwarmer. But I got that Cyclops, and heck, is that figure poor. It might be a popular costume, etc, but the loose bands and the colours used, it just feel cheap. I'm waiting for the classic skull cap one, so I can sell off this monster.
I'm never gonna display Lorna next to Wanda so the same face don't bother me. But in fairness I would have loved a more regal Polaris. This one feels a little off somehow. Still. One down on my wish list.
What's next? Classic Storm and Thunderbird of course! (and yes a new Banshee would be OK).
Cannot wait for the all female box. Groundbreaking.

I adore this Iron Fist. Now if I can find that Sabretooth from the same era...

With just a slightly higher collar morbius's body could easily be a high collared ironfist....lets hope hasbro does one for normal retail. Then they could do red ironfist and steel serpent......with a slight mod steel serpents waist sash could be from zemo.

you mean you've actually spotted the new X wave here in south florida? we're usually always behind everyone else, usually by 2-3 months.

I was already expecting this to happen, same as to what happen with deadpool in the last wave. i NEVER found one in the wild, i ended up just buying one from amazon.

Archangel 03-15-2017 08:40 PM

In tonight's Cyclops hunt, I picked up Shatterstar. He's a pretty solid figure. I didn't plan on getting anything but Cyclops out this wave, but I'll probably end up with Colossus also. The Warlock BAF just doesn't interest me. The leg band on Shat is loose, but it doesn't seem quite as bad as the Cyclops issue.

I got my Sunfire in today. His feet joints are super loose, but everything else feels tight. Hopefully after we move I can get a sweet setup with Apocalypse and his horsemen in my man cave. I'm still hunting a cable to complete Apocalypse.

I also snagged another Omega Red w/ tentacles

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out with ML history. I hear people refer to the "Dark Times of Marvel Legends". I have somewhat of an idea of what they are referring to, but I was wondering during what years exactly it occured, and what exactly was so bad to earn the name.

I want to know because I think the history of the line is super interesting, and I wasn't involved with the line at all during that period.

When that Juggernaut wave first started Deadpool was going for $75 online. You can pick it up 8 months later for 25. I'm guessing all the scalpers had to dump their inventory before the next waves hit. I kind of expected Angela to get scalped out the Guardians wave, hence me paying a stupid amount for her at a local comic shop. You can find just about every character in that wave in my area. Luckily I completed the whole wave off that Walgreens sale, so I don't feel quite as bad about jumping to he gun on Angela...plus she's a stellar figure.
