I finished the second Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus today and except for Mary Jane's horrid hair style they gave her in the last few issues, it was... well amazing. Just like with the first volume, it was a blast to read all of the stories in order and I love how halfway through they became nothing but multi-part adventures. It's a shame this is it until May, but at least I can keep myself occupied with the Roger Stern Omnibus (even though I'm jumping like 150 issues).

Romita's artwork was just outstanding to stare at and I love how colorful he is. His action scenes of top notch too. And then of course the quips Spidey made remained a highlight. Great stuff all around.

If anyone has or can find an extra TRU Groot Evolution figure I have a case fresh Warlock wave Cyclops new in sealed package for an even trade. I have been driving myself crazy looking for a Groot figure and would love to go a few days without driving to TRU. Thanks!

I checked one of my local 24-hour Walgreens after working overnight tonight and found Cyclops. They cashier asked me if I was "the guy who called earlier about holding this for him?" I said nope, but I'll take it. These bands on him are horrible though. I'm going to have to figure something out with those. Maybe a little epoxy?

my hunt this morning...
i went to one Walgreens and found nothing..and said to myself...i really don't feel like driving all around for nothing..
Called 9 targets..(and visited one more Walgreen during the calls).and nada..
one Target had two Sunfires...but him i didn't need..
ended up with one walking dead fig from Toys R Us......meh..

stupid x-men figs...*grumble-grumble*

actually...honestly....only ONE was bad....the rest were decent and the associates we have scurrying around looking for random oddly named characters....were quite helpful..

And had to listen to the musak version of muskrat love. The one target near me still has absorbing man figs on the pegs as well as groot wave remnants........and at targouges inflated pricing theyre not gonna move anytime soon. Hell wally worlds are 18.87.... Methinks target has no intrest in selling or stocking anymore.

After searching four Walgreen's in the past two days, my Warlock Wave is complete. I found Dazzler last night. Shatterstar, Sunfire, and Old Man Logan this morning. I absolutely love this wave, but I'm asucker for X-Men in general. The one thing that upsets me is I never completed the Jubilee wave. The only figure I ever saw in TRU was Wolverine, Cyclops and Stryfe I got from my local comic book store. The prices on Ebay and Amazon are out of control...LOL!!!

I tried to get a loan for that Jubilee wave and got denied. Crazy prices.

I tried bargaining with the devil....he just laughed. Appearantly even Lucifer can't get 'em. Haha ;)

You know that you can price match, right? I mean, it won't work very well with the Groot wave, since other places online have that for inflated prices, but it'll work on the Titus wave. Amazon in particilar is great for price-matching with Target.

Went to a Walmart today and found a better shape darkhawk then the one that came in the mail this past week. Needless to say the amazon one will be brought back to Walmart.

lucky, what state you in? here in Miami there is nothing but namors, daredevils and GOTG but i dont collect none of those, im a picky collector. i just intrested in Cyclops and Human torch. i did see a descent priced cyclops on ebay but i cant buy it now (employment issues) :(

Around here its near impossible to price match as it seems the stores try to say amazon is not a brick n mortar rtail store, those are individual sellers etc etc, is the kinda excuses ive been given at target. Hell wal marts here have stopped doing price matching all together.

Best bet for you is to keep checking Walmarts. Toys r us here in south florida suck, Same with targets here...

Wal marts are hit or miss when it comes to stocking. Ice seen a couple that have remnants of new waves and others that are stuck in a time loop with old stock hanging on pegs.

I bought a case when that wave came out and each case was 2 setinels plus the variants

Walgreens comes though clutch. Only see Polaris and Shatterstar, or sometimes OML at Target.
