I was definitely happy with mine and his transaction

The second wave of DST Ghostbusters comes with clear plastic clips that attach the proton streams to the wands. I heard in a YouTube video that wave 2 figures would include extra clips for you to use on the wave one figures.

oh boy oh boy.. i was SO EXCITED for the DST ghostbusters figures.. i thought my dreams were coming true when they were revealed.

i bought the toys r us versions of ray and winston because i wasn't interested in building the diorama, and the price was nice.

i left them in their packaging until peter and egon were released.. so, i picked them up on wednesday.. and wow, i really can't recall a time that i was this let down by figures. i don't even know where to start.

lets start with the articulation.. no double jointed elbows?.. for figures whose main accessory is meant to be held and used with two hands?.. really? and worse than that, the joints they do have are all caked with excess plastic and paint, they're really terrible. they're overly tight and look pretty bad.

second.. the decals just seem haphazardly thrown on.to the point where some of them just came right off from touching them.

third.. the swappable hands.. thanks to how tight the connections are, it was impossible to remove the hands of ray and winston to the point where both hands on both figures broke leaving the peg lodged in. ugh.

fourth.. the flimsy plastic.. my first breakage right out of the packaging was the trap.. the wire just broke out of no where, it broke at the connection to the actual trap. second breakage is winston' backback.. the top of the alice frame dislodged from the top strap and the body. then there's the updated proton stream.. i hadn't even tried to use it yet and the clear peg broke the inner wire of the stream. also, why in the world weren't there any connectors with the first figures?.. you'd think that that's something that shouldn't be forgotten. oh, in it just seems like a matter of time before the wire going from the wand to the pack breaks.

fifth.. the paint.. it just seems muddy and rough. it's absolutely not clean. the eyes and stuff seem fine, but the surfaces seem really rough and unrefined.

sixth.. the feet.. these feet are EASILY the absolute worst feet i've ever experienced with any figure. the bottoms are so rounded that they're practically useless. and the little black bases included with the toys r us versions don't help much either. it's baffling that they would mold the bottoms of their boots this way knowing that stability with their backpacks is a necessity. it's unbelievable.

lastly.. the wand connection. this is probably the worst wand/pack connection i've ever seen.. a peg, or a real slot, or a magnet.. or anything else really would've been better than what they've done here. and with how fragile everything seems to be, trying to connect the wands to the packs is a major pain in the ass. i really don't get it.

these figures had so much potential.. but it's just another in a long line of 'meh' ghostbusters figures.

i'd give anything for 4 ghostbusters from hot toys.. or medicom.. or figuarts.. or figma.. or neca, threeA, or bandai, square enix, or hell.. at this point i wouldn't even mind ghostbusters done by hasbro in their legends line...

Have you checked out Mattel's Ghostbusters? I got the 2 2-packs but have not opened them yet.

Good for you. It's funny that in my area before the movie came out this figure was fairly common but then as soon as the movie came out she was rare in these parts. I got a little lucky and walked into my TRU as they had just stocked wave 3 (which Rey was repacked into) and I had just seen the movie for the first time a few days prior so it was an easy pickup. I hope episode 8 further develops the character so people will stop talking about how they think "she's too perfect and good at everything."

Yep, same here, I saw her for the Force Friday but passed on her then in favor of Kylo & the troopers, & once I saw the movie, she was nowhere to be found.
Since we got everything Hasbro very late around here, the one I just get is probably from the repacked wave 3.

Yeah, I have the Matty ghostbusters as well, 6" and 12".. I was hoping these would be superior.. But they are not.. Not in my opinion anyways.

Oh well though.. It's just sad. Maybe one day we'll get some really great figures. I'd LOVE to see figuarts do the real ghostbusters.

I refreshed my computer over and over the night she went up for pre-order, which was on New Years Eve. Kanan, Jango, Han, Luke, and Ahsoka were all up for pre-order separately, but about ten minutes after they went live, Ahsoka was already listed as sold out. I guess I got lucky. :)

I have several of this ship in jango colors I wouldn't pay that just for boba colors. I'll wait for the price to drop. 12 is the max I feel this ship is worth and that's pushing it

awesome.. if i ever see them in stores, i may have to pick them up.

i think it's sort of a shame that they can't do them in their proper animation style. i'd love real rebels versions of them, the rest of the cast, and a rebels version of vader and maul.

In a way...I'm kind of glad that they didn't do them in their animated style, as for me, it would actually encourage me to NOT display these with the rest of my Black Series collection, since they would look off with the realistic look of the other figures. This has happened with my regular collection of Star Wars figures, as most if not all of my Clone Wars animated stuff is posed and displayed away from my regular Star Wars figures, as I feel the animated look, while awesome, creates too much of a discrepancy between the realistic look.

I feel they did a really good job with bringing these characters into the "real" or "reel" world if you will, and seeing them realized actually gives me some hope that maybe we might see these characters realized on the big screen in one of Disney's spinoff films someday. While the Kanan figure is a bit more generic, the Ahsoka figure is really impressive, as you can actually see a hint of Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka on both TCW and Rebels) in the sculpt.

Wasn't initially planning on picking these up, but when I saw them rolled back to 12.96 at my local Walmart, I couldn't resist. Just gotta track down Onslaught now...

Meh.. I'd rather have proper versions of the characters than versions of them that just aren't truly them. I'd rather be able to look at kanan and see the character I know.. Not a sort of strange realistic version of him.

i always wondered if they ever made one on this comic or if they had planned too! always loved this cover cuz it introduced me to Venom and McFarlane (when i was a kid). plus, it means a lot to me as my brother-in-law (years before he passed away) gave me some comics one time and this was one of them (along with others) but i eventually got rid of all my comics, except for some graphic novels/tpb's! $10 ain't a bad price imo either! now I just got to find some wall space to put it up haha :P

Awesome! Thanks Provost!

After yesterday's Combaticon haul, ran into Onslaught today to finish the team. Easiest time I've ever had completing a gesalt...
