No pick from one of the groups in my list.

I can't find a widow for the life of me. It seems that all of the retail here is almost depleted with the avengers stuff. There are only like 5 figs left. I wonder when the nick fury wave will hit. Probably july too with the rest of the stuff in july. Ughh. July will be an expensive month.

Boba Fettuccini 06-11-2012 03:35 PM

Everyone needs to stop complaining about not finding Widow. You're going to make me feel bad for using my extra one to make Catwoman.

Speaking of which, have you got your stuff yet?

proteus 06-11-2012 03:51 PM

Well to be fair i need one too,so i can continue building my Elite Super Powered/Special Forces unit.....THE LEAGUE OF SEXY LADY COMMANDOS!! Though to be fair that GI Joe Zanya from the BBTS Dreadnok 7pack is constantly eluding my every effort to procure her too!! Wonder when the MU She-Hulk will hit stores........

Do yourself a favor, find the store with the least Avengers figs left and the least foot traffic you know of, preferably the one you can monitor almost every day. Then buy those last 5. Wait a couple days and return them to a different store. The store with 0 will be forced to restock. It may take a week, or a few weeks, but as long as you're watching it, you know where the new case is going to hit next.

Easier said than done, I know. Walmarts are notorious for not giving your money back right away, and the cost of 'floating' 5 figures for up to a week isn't all that small of an investment either. Then, there's always the possibility that you can't check the store due to restock in time to catch the new restock, and someone else swoops in on your hard work.

I can't say it always pays off, but it does often enough to keep trying...

Lol. You should only feel bad if you use it to make Batman.

flipwilson 06-11-2012 04:11 PM

I found a Holocaust from the old 5 inch line for 50 cents at a garage sale and I got shocker from an awesome arker by the name of Boyblue. The trade on my end took a bit longer to get there than I'd have liked, but it was still a great success.

shortysben 06-11-2012 04:28 PM

I cant believe ppl are already paying 75-90$ for the SDCC "pre-order" MOE set...thats not really a good sign...

I can. People are paying that for Professor X alone; and he'll be less money and 1000x easier to acquire than the MoE set.

Some people just love to feed the scalpers for some reason.

I noticed that too. Too much bickering maybe. Bring the positive vibes back to these threads! Viva la Toyark!
