Just picked up the Out of the Shadows lair. I'm so excited to put it together. I don't know what it is about the new turtle micro figures. They're just so must fun!

Here's my epic haul from Kansas City's Planet Comic-Con!

First is an autographed 8x10 by Sean Maher, Serenity's Doctor Simon Tam.

Next is the complete Batman/TMNT crossover signed by artist Freddie Williams II

and a couple of commissioned grey scale pieces of Pooch the Lowbeast and Vlad by Hack/Slash's Daniel Leister as well as some signed Hack/Slash comics.

Next is the Huntress: Dark Knight Daughter trade paperback and Legends of the Dark Knight "Going Sane" complete story arc signed by artist Joe Staton

Elektra: Assassin trade paperback signed by artist Bill Sienkiewics and Batman: War Games Volume 1 i picked up for $20

Then the Batman Arkham Origins 3 pack with Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Electrocutioner and Lady Shiva that I got for $40 and a BVS Hot Wheels chase car

The complete Imperial comics series signed by illustrator Mark Dos Santos

Amazing Spider-Man #700 & #1 signed by Humberto Ramos

Power Girl volume 1 and volume 2 trades signed by artist Amanda Conner

Before Watchmen Silk Spectre mini series signed by Amanda Conner

Harley Quinn art print signed by illustrator Mark Dos Santos

and finally, my big purchase was the Play Arts Kai Variant Thor figure that I snagged for $70

After seeing hundreds of the wave 1 packs around my local stores, I finally found wave 2 of the Civil War 2.5" figure packs in Sainsbury's today. They had one of each of these two along with a couple of the Captain America and Mercenary pack, which I decided to pass on. Pleased to have a Scarlet Witch in this scale at last. It's almost like the AOU one never made it to UK retail. I never, ever saw that one in stores.

Ive held off on some of my favorite franchises..no DBZ...no Star Wars..no Avengers...loved the Black Panther one and passed on that too. And some really cool one offs....the force is strong with me on this one....I just happen to buy ALL THINGS Firestorm.

I don't understand the appeal of POPs. I got the SDCC Golden Freeza last year with my autographed poster and donated it to Toys for Tots back in Dec.

Dear Lord, I hate those Pop things. My local comic store has practically one third of the shop taken up with the things and they even told me that they hated them too.

Finally Red Hood is released. Love the figure but he didn't come with the guns that were advertised with the figure, still awesome though.
