Marvel Captain America: Civil War Giant-Man and Ant-Man | Toys for Boys | Marvel

Click on full description. The site says that the figure is 3 inches.

Since the figure comes in two parts it seems like it'd be a little bit bigger than the standard 2.5 inchers. Even then, it can still represent a size-change for the character, and it comes with an even smaller Ant-Man.

(Did you really need to re-link to that though? That's what I linked that started the conversation in the first place lol)

Wow, that looks really good. I'm not a Joe guy but from the pictures I've seen of that figure, the headsculpt doesn't look very good when compared to the concept art of it. Your paint job totally fixed it up. Also, if you ever find those tutorial pictures, do you think you can send them to me? That paint job genuinely looks official.

Im currently banned from FB(I'm very opinionated about stuff&thangs),but when I'm allowed back on,I'll hunt them down in my messages. It's really not that difficult.

Thanks! The head itself sculptwise is really nice! The club botched it two ways! One the stock paint apps are awful! Two,it's too big,and set too high for the body! That head is slightly smaller then the original, and retooled.

Knew I liked you... What do you paint with? I've tried fine brushes, but lately live taken to shaving the brush handle down to a fine point for detail work. Also what kind of paint, a lot of the acrylics seem too thick for stuff like eyes, or they fill in and dull the sculpt of hair.

And finally a Foom! He is awesome and scales perfectly with 3.75. He's defiantly on my top figures list. If anything happens to my wife I may lobby congress to marry him.

That's an awesome thing! I liked the chick the most tho! although the dwarf's roll attack was way better then the chick's spin sword attack. Now I wish I still had my Genesis! lol. Still have my SNES tho!

How is he supposed to put people in his pants if he's not wearing any?

I'm a traditionalist, NO PANTS ON FOOM!

If Hasbro ever gets around to bringing back the Masterworks Marvel figures they should give us a Fin Fang Foom and Terrax set with the appropriate additional clothing options so we can make the Fin Fang Farm, or just have two more good villains.

Nice collection, Pilk! I always look for customs in collection pics. Anyone can buy stuff at retail, it's the little extras that make a collection stand out, and that's usually custom pieces.

Speaking of customs, you haven't posted any in a while. What's up with that?

Been a bit busy but have been doing a few, Oscar V has ordered quite a few but he doesn't want to see the work until he has moved house so havnt shared any of his figures like Gwen pool etc

I don't think I'll ever get around to getting Foom. I've considered buying him piece by piece before, but its too expensive of a risk for something I may not complete.

My advice is save up, bite the billet and buy him whole. Piece by piece ( when you can find all the pieces) will run you on the low end 400- 450 and in the three years I've researched him on ebay only two heads came up alone. Arms and upper torsos are almost as rare. Buying the figures MIP or loose with BAF parts is almost a grand. 280 is the best you'll average for a complete Foom, 300 is the average. I got him from a friend for a steal, along with the brood queen and hulk buster. But he is totally worth it. Now I want to find one of the six orange Fooms that are out there.

I've seen a picture of three loose orange Fooms with pants being sold in the Philippines, the one that sold on eBay with no pants from the same seller as the ant man moon knight comic packs, the one in the display at SDCC, and the one in the promotional photos from hasbro. The latter two had considerably different paint. There might be more, but I haven't seen them.

So, like, his expensive is it to cast a head in a proper flesh tone? I'm asking because of this:

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/VW...w1280-h1920-no

This would be a convenience to most if it wasn't over $37. So is this guy overpricing his casts, or is it something to do with casting the heads that way?

Contraband 09-22-2016 10:30 AM

That's a direct copy of the HOA set's Tony Stark. Honestly,Its possible to make dozens of them for $37. Must be a reseller, because that's one of SW geek's cast numbers. I know him,and I know he doesn't charge like that.

Why would anyone want that head anyways? It looks nothing like Robert Downey Jr.

People are stealing the 6 inch upscale from that Civil War set...Along with Spider-man.

It's probably the best option for a Tony Stark head in this scale, so it can go on your MCU Iron Men, or on a comic figure...Or a suited body.

Also, link to that guy you mentioned?
