A couple more quick Customs. Bucky cap gets a new arm and some paint and deadshot is a WIP.

Thanks. I used to have that concern also, but I've found that there's rarely a figure from Hasbro that I don't make some sort of mods to anyway so it tends to balance out.

Nice job on the Spidey customs. Good head choices.

Every time I see Wonder Man in that classic outfit I get annoyed that I haven't made one yet. Thanks for damaging my self esteem!

Really need to get that guy made and off my to do list.

Cheers really happy with him just a Thunderball repaint and a Pilkster head swap your customs are great thought most of the characters I don't know but they look really good 👍🏻

Awesome stuff, dude! I like the way you posed Vision. It hides his weird hunched look.

Also, is that classic Wasp official? I don't recall a normal sized classic Wasp in this scale, but that looks really official.

Yeah I wanted him static as he doesn't fly he floats so his feet should be straight and look like that if you think about it and no that's a custom kitbashes of the MI Wasp and Elektra abit of paint and a Pilkster head cheers happy that someone thought it was an Official product

just needs a repaint to white

MUfan97 09-29-2016 06:52 PM

Am I the only one who wants some effects packs for our scale? I mean, we're lucky if we get a used toothpick with our figures, so packs like that would be quite welcome(I think ML collectors would like some too, but their need is less dire).

Either way, I want this effect in 3 3/4 inch scale: http://cdn1.sciencefiction.com/wp-co...et-War-Cap.jpg

snake5289 09-29-2016 07:01 PM

Yeah that would be pretty sweet. I'd definitely take some fire effects and/or various burnt stuff to setup around my Ghost Rider.

Started work on my Bishop custom to give him more articulation.

Sithlord1963 10-01-2016 02:15 PM

Just won a Legends Civil war Panther for £0.99 plus p&p. Can't complain for that price. Comes with a Boseman head which I'll send off to be shrunk to 1/18 scale.

Looking ahead to furthering my MCU/custom collection, does anyone other than Vortious do a 1/18 bald female head that would work as a stand in for The Ancient One?

rea1180 10-01-2016 02:51 PM

Here we go. I don't read the comics my collection needs come from a love 80's Secret Wars figures as well as 90' X-men cartoon and the MCU films. I will break this up into several posts as I type slowly and don't want to be logged out while typing and also will a lot of breaks from typing. I have many 4in MCU toys and have been collecting since wave 1 of Marvel Universe. I try to only collect one of any given character unless I already have a version and of Cyclops and then the Jim Lee one comes out. Or of course all the multi packs which include rehashes. At this point my collection is set up in roughly 5 man teams. Not knowing the comics very well many of the teams have become Avengers or X-men or generic villains. Hopefully you can give me some good varied team ideas. I will list them as I have them teamed already.

I had started a custom when they announced Bishop. So I never finished it and just bashed it with the official release. Still want to match the paint when I get a chance.

Cable torso with Hyperion arms and Roadblock hands, to go with the head and legs of the Infinite Series. Makes him pretty tall, but more variety in my book.

Your GotG and Defenders are pretty solid. As for you sorta unsorted team there:
Deathlok has never been an Avenger that I know of. There's a lot of alternate Deathloks but the 3 main Deathloks (not counting the newest one they made just because of Agents of SHIELD) are Luther Manning, Michael Collins, and Deathlok Prime. Of these 3 the only one who ever really joined a team was Deathlok Prime who joined both X-Force and the X-Men under Wolverine's lead so you could put him with some X themed characters decently.

Wonder Man has been on many iterations of the Avengers. The West Coast (which we got a team pack of that he fits in with well), the Mighty (with Iron Man, Ms Marvel, Ares, Black Widow, and Wasp), Uncanny, and versions of the regular team. He's also been a Master of Evil but that was very short lived and neither figure represents that look.

Falcon can just go with any classic Captain America as his buddy. He's been an Avenger and a Defender though so he has teams to stand with.

Skaar and World War Hulk are pretty much just their own thing though. You could put them with A-Bomb since there was a while where A-Bomb was teaching Skaar to be a hero. The only team Skaar's been on has been the hulks team which is exactly what you'd guess it is.

That Iron Man is his supremely dickish AXIS look so it doesn't really belong to any particular team other than just being another Iron Man suit.

Machine Man has been an Avenger on both the main team and the West Coast.

Soooo is Luke Cage the best Netflix series since Daredevil, or what?

While Abomination is a notorious villain, A-bomb was once Rick Jones and the sidekick for Captain Marvel. I don't think he's been in a lot since becoming A-bomb, he really just helps the Hulk every now and then.

Gladiator (purple mohawk man) can go with the X-men since he had dealings with them going back to the Phoenix stories, or you could put him with Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill (horse Thor guy) to have some Annihilators, other Annihilators being Quasar and I'll count Nova.

Silver Surfer can go alongside the Fantastic Four or even with the Avengers as he's helped them in the past.

Deadpool has spent the majority of his career solo but he has since been a member of Uncanny X-force and even now the Uncanny Avengers. You could also have him fighting one of your Wolverines as they frequently clash for no significant reason.
