Changing track slightly, NYCC starts tomorrow. Based on people's past experience, when is the 3.75" line most likely to get a public airing? I'm really interested in seeing what (if anything)Hasbro will do for Dr Strange.

With the way Hasbro's been treating MCU figures in this scale I'd guess we'll only get either a TRU exclusive two pack (like BP and A-13) of some kind or just a single deluxe figure (like the Captain America w/ bike or the Falcon with wings).

LordMudd 10-06-2016 07:04 AM

If they are smart, they will do a box set with the window for the background.

Some new legends releases seen at NYCC not seen any 3.75

Sithlord1963 10-06-2016 02:19 PM

OK, getting a little impatient now. When will Hasbro let the 3.75" Collectors know the extent of the latest disappointing news. Kind of given up on ever seeing anything AOS related but still have (rapidly diminishing) hope for Dr Strange and/or GOTG2. After all, they already have the Pratt head from the 3.75" Jurassic World line.

the only 3.75 inch on display were the GOTG comic packs

LordMudd 10-07-2016 02:21 PM

Did this simple custom of Captain Atlas a few days ago, seen here with older custom of his partner Dr. Minerva.

While too tall for official scale, Ultron is a damn robot so you can get away with a lot of size discrepancies. I have a 6" Ultron in my MU display.

Madame Warlock 10-08-2016 05:31 AM

So wow literally nothing new at NYCC? :/ I hate this so much.

Primacron 10-08-2016 05:54 AM

The figure I am looking forward to getting the most for my 3.75" display is the 6" BAF Dormammu.

have baf thanos, hulkbuster and ultron attepting to fill in for their lack of 3.75 scaled movie counterparts but its still not the same. some of of them seem to big even though their robots. might get riid of them after I do my holiday clean up this year

MUfan97 10-08-2016 10:47 AM

Really weird how Hasbro didn't reveal anything for Doctor Strange yet. I mean, sure, they're focusing on Star Wars because of the new movie, but I'll gladly collect both! At least one figure would be nice.

Looks like no 3.75 for marvel will be shown guess what we got shown at San Diego is it for next year. Unless they bring something to Toyfair.

Definitely! During the Marvel 3.75" hiatus', I've been playing catch up with a lot of my other lines. I think it's time I start doing that with BAF pieces.

I think I'll be concentrating on robots next year - Transformers!

Sithlord1963 10-08-2016 03:27 PM

So, NYCC was as disappointing as I feared. Patience is a virtue (I guess) as I still expect a MCU Dr Strange figure eventually.

AOG Custom GR is getting there slowly - Pilk seems quite taken with the WIP :-)

MUfan97 10-08-2016 10:51 PM

So what's the cheapest female figure with good articulation to buy from this line? I'd like to make some female customs in the future, but I need to know about good bases that I can acquire without paying an arm and a leg for it.

Not counting Hacks here.

What was everyone expecting? There hasn't been a 375 reveal at NYCC sence the old man Logan exclusive. And if memory serves before that the only one was compound hulk, which was a con exclusive. NYCC has always been about the 6" figures... except when ML was dead. Plus numerically speaking we've already seen more figures on deck for this upcoming year than we got last year. We only got 19 3.75 single carded marvel legends and one delux ( Sam Wilson). Plus 12 figures in comic packs. Of those 4 are straight repacks, one is a paint change, and one is a head swap of the same character. If you count the SDCC collector vault as 4 ( which is up for debate) . That's 36 figures total. To put that in perspective our peek year 2011, we got 146 unique figures in the 375 scale, two movie lines, a spider man line, team packs, comic packs, vehicles, gigantic battles, and masterworks. Plus back then you could actually find shit on shelves! Rant over.

Well, we have a November movie that hasn't previously revealed any 3 3/4 inch figures, so we figured maybe we'd get something along those lines?

Personally, them showing off a wave that had been previously revealed, but also had a gold Ultron in there would've been fine, too...
