Omg Cull Obsidian are going to be in Infinity War? Absolute yes to all five of them, but mostly Corvus and Promixa. Their designs were the most visually interesting IMO.

It's not a huge stretch to get a Corvus from a Moribus and maybe a Proxmia would at least give us Attuma's helmet spear thingies....yeah I'm just dying get an Attuma..anyways....

Great news all around on that.

In unrelated news did my normal northern Nashville run last night, TRU, 2 Targets 2 Walmarts...mostly dry of new stuff. Plenty of old stuff. I DID see a Shocker and a Spider-Man UK though which was the 2nd and 3rd figures from that wave I've seen on shelf, just already have a Shocker and didn't want Spider-Man UK.

Someone mentioned that they have been spotted at Walmart too I think. I did a search through an inventory website and confirmed it.

No need to get snappy bro.... i'm merely sharing my experiences considering i live local to you. I'll just keep it to myself next time you vent about not finding anything around here.

Oh snap. Tomax is right tho.

So if it's a private matter why not take it to PM then? When it's in an open thread anyone can chime in. I wasn't aware i can only speak once to someone on here per week.....

But like I said, my gut tells me it's gonna be something along the lines of "Captain America/Ryu 2-pack" and as much as I like Cap, I can't get excited for another Cap figure.

I'm sort of predicting it'll be exactly what you hope it isn't: A new Capcom figure packaged with a rerelease or slightly repaint/retool of an existing Marvel Legends fig. The Capcom figures would likely require new sculpts and Hasbro loves saving money when possible.

With only Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Captain America officially announced for the Marvel side of the game, it's definitely starting to look like this might be the case. It's doubtful that Hasbro will include characters that are not being heavily focused upon in the promotional materials.

Archangel 04-08-2017 07:21 PM

Picked up the old Loki and Dr. Doom from the ToyBiz line today. I'm really impressed with Loki. ToyBiz definitely had Hasbro beat on paint work. I can't think of too many ToyBiz figures I have that didn't have super detailed paint.

Trivial Psychic 04-08-2017 09:54 PM

Finally ran into Cyclops at Walgreens yesterday and picked up him thanks to my damn completionist tendencies. I won't harp on the the negatives of the figure...overall it's a good use of the Bucky Cap mold that could have used a little bit better execution in the long run, but is still able to strike some good poses. Now to figure out the best way to hot glue these damn bands into place...

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...408_195126.jpg

This also means I completed Warlock...which I really have no opinion of thanks to my dislike of the character. But still...different stokes for different folks I guess. I still think the wave could have benefited with a better choice of BAF character.

^ Nice shots.

I was thinking of getting Silk just for her headsculpt, but never even saw that wave here at retail. I saw in a vid that the head is too big for the SDCC Psylocke body though... I wonder if they would reuse the same SDCC mold or make a new one if they ever did make Psylocke.

Is that the Loki with the ridiculously long horns? LOL. I saw one at a local swap meet last week still all nice looking inside its clamshell packaging... it really does look neat... I should've asked the dude how much he was asking for it.

Really...it's too big? Who told you that?

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...9185671127.jpg

This is from a restoration project that I did last year. It was done on an SDCC Psylocke figure that was essentially reduced to fodder thanks to the previous owner doing a poor job in attempting to customize it. He ended up wiping off all of the paint on the original head in his attempts (which I was unable to salvage) and the knee joint was torn. I replaced the knee and left hand (which had also been broken off at the peg) and used Silk's head for a replacement. I didn't need to do any dremel work on Silk's head, and while the head fit a little loose, I was able to alleviate this by adding two or three tiny pieces of paper towel on the inside of the head. It doesn't fall off, and retains it's full articulation to boot.

As for using the old Elektra/Black Widow body, I'm sure that Psylocke if and when she is eventually released will be on one of the current female legend bodies, most likely the Silk/Barton frame, which is the most current body mold for Legends females. Hopefully though, they will be able to tweak the hips a bit though, as the articulation there is a bit limited, especially when you compare it to Mockingbird, who was able to do full splits...

MeLikeJinx 04-09-2017 12:31 AM

^ That's awesome. And yah, I meant the peg hole is too big for the neck peg, so you can't just do a pure headswap... you have to have the head sort of just sit on the neck and can't really articulate it... I think I was watching Shartimus Prime's review of Silk when he tried the headswap at the end.

And IMO Hasbro has gotten so good at female headsculpts even compared to only a few years ago that I think maybe I won't even need to try and get a Silk beforehand... I think any new Psylocke headsculpt will be on point... maybe. I'll probably still try and get Silk though... just in case. LOL.

ariellagunas 04-09-2017 05:12 AM

To my fellow Brits. The Invisible Woman has started to show up in the UK.

My LCS tweet me about it on Friday, but they run out before I could take breath. I ordered one from Kapow thou. Should get it by Friday latest.

Happy hunting!

AFU 04-09-2017 05:31 AM

Ladies and gents, I got the current 'X-Men' wave blues:(..none in my local area...have not gotten a figure in over a month, got the shakes, man...Think going to go to LCBS and find something 'Marvel' related for my fix, ha...Most of the Walmart, Walgreens, and Targets have had the GOTG 2 Wave, but no X-Men...Might have to break down and order these figures online...Switching subjects, Hasbro please make another Psylocke, and make a X-Men 'Blackbird' for 6 inch figures...I think they can do, and it would sell out quick!

Yep, that's the one. Neither one was very expensive where I picked it up. I needed a Loki to matchup with my Thor, though I may need a better Thor now.

hasbroherofan 04-09-2017 08:55 AM

I wonder if they'll be doing a new classic Thor later this year.

Weapon X 04-09-2017 09:24 AM

Speaking of Thor....here's hoping the Ragnarok figure comes with the helmet.

Good call. I think they could also share parts for an Ultimate Thor if they ever feel like doing one.

Yah but i doubt they would unless some kinda exclusive since the ult verse is defunct now. Honestly the odin wave thor is probably one of the best that has been released, though an unhelmeted head woulda put it over the top killer awesome. Maybe if they do make ult thor i can swap the unhelmeted head. ;)

Actually ultimate Thor is supposedly coming into the 616 universe according to the last issue of Unworthy Thor.
