Thank you for mentioning that. I would of been a bit unhappy if i snapped his arm off ha!
I think he looks awesome next to The Arrow version of Deathstroke.

I too had to hunt online for this figure recently.

Awesome rendition of BP in my view.

Yeah which is dumb cause you might as well pay to get the whole case where you get more bang for your buck.

I like the wave a lot, I do wish for some other characters to have been made, but I can't complain about this one. All of the boxes/cards were mint with no flaws. This was also one wave that I didn't want to waste time to hunt, my first time buying a whole case online.

Good job! Got mine not long after it was first released on Amazon at pretty much the RRP, which isn't something I tend to see on there these days...

This one actually came out better than I expected. The paints on the Ripley's face are a little too bright for my tastes, which gives her an almost cartoonish look (almost PlayArts Kai-ish,) but even with that gripe, in hand, I think it's the best likeness to Sigourney Weaver we've gotten from the line so far. So happy to finally have the last Ripley I'll ever need, since I'm one of only 22 people on the planet who actually enjoyed Alien 3.

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...706_142141.jpg

Case assortment was kinda weird though now that I think about it. There were 8 figures total...6 Xenos, one Yutani Guard and one Ripley. All of the Xenos were brown though...none of the black/grey variants were to be found.

I guess NECA is finally realizing the human characters don't sell all that well, which, if they follow this pattern, is really going to suck for those trying to find Vasquez and Frost with the next assortment.

I went to TRU yesterday and saw the Dog Alien and the variant looks to be an open mouth with just lighter brown and grey accents so I bought both since I missed out on the first release...

I have it next to me now and still cant believe how cool it is. The thing looks like it wants to come out of the box at me and make fun of my mother.
They did a great job.

If any of you have a Hastings near you and still need a Black Panther or Nick Fury keep an eye out. I walked into my local Hastings and they had 5 cases worth of Cap Civil War Legends. 5 Panther and 5 Fury, hell 5 of everyone in the line, just sitting there in the Civil War display section of the store.

Let me guess you like Naurto

SpasticPlastic 07-11-2016 03:19 PM

It's been awhile since I had to watch it, my kid outgrew it a few years ago, when he turned five, but didn't Pokemon wear a baseball hat? Not sure I like this updated blonde version.

That's better than my guess. I thought it was a teenage Goten dying his hair to be rebellious.

He only had his hair blonde during the few episodes when he was practicing to be an earth-bender with Toph. The he went right back to the baseball hat.

Thanks amigo…well, these are just some of my grails (my entire collection will not fit in a few pages). Oh yes, good eye. If you’re asking about that Modern Red Tornado is because you have some knowledge on this topic and I like that…Long story short, he’s a one of a kind (only one known in existence). Without mentioning names (as I was asked not to by my seller), this man (I will refer to him as “the professor”) was directly involved in the final decision board for Mattel as far as DCU is concerned. I bought this from his daughter and she is the one that told me his story. He was there from the beginning of (my favorite toy line BTW) DCSH until wave 20 of DCUC. That toy line, in my opinion, changed the way a 6” action figure should look and feel. He became a professor at Harvard University right after leaving Mattel according to his daughter. She tells me that he kept one of each figure that he was ever directly involved with (this I can confirm because what she showed me…is pure “plastic gold”). I paid 4 digits for this figure…and guess who’s been looking for me “hunting” for this figure? Yup…Jordan Hembrough, the Toy Hunter himself (more than likely for a client of his). BTW, the Toy Hunter was after my MU Grails too according to Arker UKMU. UKMU knows firsthand because he was the middle man when I purchased these figs. Anyways…I’ve been offered 5 digits for these fig…I’m not letting this one go folks…sorry!

That's an awesome and cool story how you bought him, and even cooler that the toy hunter is after him. Do you have the Nked Cheetah i have always wanted her?? Dc universe/Dc superheroes is also my favorite Toyline so when i saw that you had that Red tornado i was surprised because i never even knew he existed I wouldn't sell that figure either! Your one lucky guy to have found and purchased him. So what is your favorite Dc universe action figure?
