I do think they did some vehicles in the 6 inch scale for The Force Awakens, but I don't know how well they sold. |
They only did a tie fighter for fa. It didnt sell well except among ultra die hards thanks to its price tag.

One of the best things about that trailer: it seems like it's set entirely in Asgard. Kickass!

There is nothing...absolutely nothing...that I cannot like about that trailer. I want figures of ALL Of them!!!
I know the line up has already been rumored but I really hope we get a Heimdall and BAF Planet Hulk out of it. I have the original Hasbro Planet Hulk but like most of their first attempts...a redo would be appreciated. |

I'm gonna say something really unpopular here...but...
I did not think the trailer for Ragnorok was all that. I actually though it kind of sucked. Outside of Hela, Hulk, and the ridiculous image of Executioner dual wielding assault rifles like some kind of Frank Castle knockoff, I honestly can't remember anything about it. Nor...did I care. I think Spielberg might have been right when he said that within a few years, the danger of superhero exhaustion with movie goers and even fans could set in, which could endanger the genre altogether. With me, I'm really starting to feel it. I haven't bothered with Agents of Shield since the first season. I struggled to get through Iron Fist (nevermind that it was a pretty awful show to begin with, but I struggled with Luke Cage and Daredevil season 2 as well, and I'm a fan of those characters.) I have not seen a Marvel Studios Film in theaters since Age Of Ultron. I couldn't find myself getting excited at all over Civil War, Logan, or Deadpool, despite the rave reviews. Spider-Man Homecoming has me shrugging my shoulders with indifference, and I'm actually disgusted that Venom and Black Cat are getting their own films in a completely separate comic universe, and those are two of my favorite characters of all time. Truthfully, I'm feeling the burnout from all of the superhero stuff. I've kept up to date by buying the DVDs when they come out, but usually they end up being one and dones for me, with me barely remembering anything about them. I keep telling myself that I will go back and watch some of them again, but I never do, and I find myself not caring if I do. Superhero films used to be an event, something that would happen only once every two to four years, but now that Hollywood has seen how much it's raked in, it's just getting beyond ridiculous. We're now getting an average of 5 films a year, and from the moment they are announced, we are bombarded with ads, logos, promotions, commercials, teasers, trailers, teaser trailers for trailers, endless speculation/rumors/spoilers/whining on the internet, and of course, toys...and it's becoming exhausting. And it's not me hating on Marvel as well, neither trailer from the upcoming DC stuff raised my pulse, and when I saw that Michael Bay had another dozen or so Transformer films on the helm with studio support, I had to stop and shake my head thinking, "Why?, and is it really necessary?" Sorry if I took a dump in everyone's cereal...but I just had to get it off my chest. If you enjoyed the trailer, I'm glad you did. Me...I just wanted something more...or maybe less. What though exactly, I have no idea. |

I definitely want a figure of that Hela. Alas, Hasbro seems to hate doing MCU villains for some reason. We didn't get Yellowjacket, Kaecilius, Ronan and several others.

As far as the movies go, i still enjoy them. they're really just the only films i normally would PAY to go see in theaters. I believe the only reason they continue to make so many as of lately is because the comic trend has become bigger than it was years ago. that's why i think they weren't so big back in the 90s and even earlier. |
