Yeah, but I think it looks better than the thin, ratty hair he's been sporting since Thor The Dark World.

Hasbro seems cold on the idea of doing vehicles in the 6-inch scale. Shame, there's a lot of different ones they could do. Quinjet, Black Panther's flying motorcycle, Ghost Rider's motorcycle and Hell Charger, Fantasticar, even Punisher's Battle Van.

I do think they did some vehicles in the 6 inch scale for The Force Awakens, but I don't know how well they sold.

Harbinger 04-10-2017 10:43 AM

They only did a tie fighter for fa. It didnt sell well except among ultra die hards thanks to its price tag.

Part of the problem with 1/12 scale vehicles is the size. For collectors like myself who have limited shelf space, a vehicle really cuts into your display. Some vehicles like Ghost Rider's motorcycle wouldn't be so bad in terms of shelf space but I think a small vehicle like Luke's Land Speeder from A New Hope might be pushing it. I love Batman the Animated Series but I haven't pulled the trigger on buying the Batmobile from DC Collectibles just due to the size. I think the car is like 2 ft. long.

SymbiSpidey 04-10-2017 11:18 AM

One of the best things about that trailer: it seems like it's set entirely in Asgard. Kickass!

Except for the part set in the Grandmaster's world.

Captain Nash 04-10-2017 12:48 PM

There is nothing...absolutely nothing...that I cannot like about that trailer. I want figures of ALL Of them!!!

I know the line up has already been rumored but I really hope we get a Heimdall and BAF Planet Hulk out of it. I have the original Hasbro Planet Hulk but like most of their first attempts...a redo would be appreciated.

They're probably trying to connect the MCU version with the comic version, who is currently sporting the chopped hair and scruffy beard look.

At the very least, I'd take a Hela with and without the headdress. She looks fantastic and could easily fall in line with both comic and MCU figures. I never knew how much my collection was missing a mini Cate Blanchett.:)

My dad picked that Tie Fighter up for 40 at Goodwill. He said they had a pallet of them.

There are some scenes on Earth, as confirmed by both set photos and the Dr. Strange post credits scene, but it is mostly in the cosmos.

Yeah, that's the one. It originally sold for $170.

I just realized, I don't know if a head with the headdress could fit in a standard ML package! Even sideways, depending on how wide they go with it, it may not fit in. She may need a special box, lol

Trivial Psychic 04-10-2017 07:12 PM

I'm gonna say something really unpopular here...but...

I did not think the trailer for Ragnorok was all that. I actually though it kind of sucked. Outside of Hela, Hulk, and the ridiculous image of Executioner dual wielding assault rifles like some kind of Frank Castle knockoff, I honestly can't remember anything about it.

Nor...did I care.

I think Spielberg might have been right when he said that within a few years, the danger of superhero exhaustion with movie goers and even fans could set in, which could endanger the genre altogether. With me, I'm really starting to feel it.

I haven't bothered with Agents of Shield since the first season. I struggled to get through Iron Fist (nevermind that it was a pretty awful show to begin with, but I struggled with Luke Cage and Daredevil season 2 as well, and I'm a fan of those characters.) I have not seen a Marvel Studios Film in theaters since Age Of Ultron. I couldn't find myself getting excited at all over Civil War, Logan, or Deadpool, despite the rave reviews. Spider-Man Homecoming has me shrugging my shoulders with indifference, and I'm actually disgusted that Venom and Black Cat are getting their own films in a completely separate comic universe, and those are two of my favorite characters of all time.

Truthfully, I'm feeling the burnout from all of the superhero stuff. I've kept up to date by buying the DVDs when they come out, but usually they end up being one and dones for me, with me barely remembering anything about them. I keep telling myself that I will go back and watch some of them again, but I never do, and I find myself not caring if I do.

Superhero films used to be an event, something that would happen only once every two to four years, but now that Hollywood has seen how much it's raked in, it's just getting beyond ridiculous. We're now getting an average of 5 films a year, and from the moment they are announced, we are bombarded with ads, logos, promotions, commercials, teasers, trailers, teaser trailers for trailers, endless speculation/rumors/spoilers/whining on the internet, and of course, toys...and it's becoming exhausting.

And it's not me hating on Marvel as well, neither trailer from the upcoming DC stuff raised my pulse, and when I saw that Michael Bay had another dozen or so Transformer films on the helm with studio support, I had to stop and shake my head thinking, "Why?, and is it really necessary?"

Sorry if I took a dump in everyone's cereal...but I just had to get it off my chest. If you enjoyed the trailer, I'm glad you did. Me...I just wanted something more...or maybe less. What though exactly, I have no idea.

I get why they never caught on at that price. It's way too bulky to really do any cool besides park on a shelf or hang from a ceiling. I kind of wish they had put out a X-wing before they stopped.

hasbroherofan 04-10-2017 07:42 PM

I definitely want a figure of that Hela. Alas, Hasbro seems to hate doing MCU villains for some reason. We didn't get Yellowjacket, Kaecilius, Ronan and several others.

I honestly don't blame you. alot of the super hero tv shows suck.... i've stayed away from them for the simple fact they just don't do it for me. the netflix series seem like a step up from the CW and other shows.

As far as the movies go, i still enjoy them. they're really just the only films i normally would PAY to go see in theaters.

I believe the only reason they continue to make so many as of lately is because the comic trend has become bigger than it was years ago. that's why i think they weren't so big back in the 90s and even earlier.
