For the movieverse Spidey villains you've got to use the larger scale figs, but it only works for big villains like Venom, and Sandman

Am I the only one who think the new movie Spidey looks like Ben Reilly?

I did make a New Goblin out of the RoC "Red Ninja"

That venom is awesome. I gotta add that to my collection. I really like that harry green goblin too. Very nice customs and setup. What spidey dio is that from?

I'm for sure going to pick up the shockwave tank this year. I can't wait to see how it is in person. You ready pete, sdcc is about a month away.

I updated my magneto. I changed the cape to the wolverine and the x-men one. I bought him from our favorite chinese seller happyday something. He looks better since the old cape had that weird folding action on the lower part of the cape. I also changed his hands to give the open palm look and painted it like it shows on the blister card. I also fixed the shadowing on his face.

I was never a fan of the large Venoms. I was always a fan of him being a man under the monster and the older comic illustarions sold that concept so his MU size figure is more than efficent, but to each his own. I think the SM3 movie Venom was a good look and size, just a crappy script and storyline.

Oh and for your question. Yes, I too think the new SM gives off that Ben Reilly vibe. I think it is the gloves that do it because at some angles in the trailers he looks like the classic Spider-Man.

I might actually use the new SM Movie figure as my go to Ben Reilly, and the SDCC MU SM as my go to Classic Spidey.

Not that I regret the characters I asked for, but your Domino is making me regret the characters I asked for...

And the anticipation just ratcheted up a few notches. (My first custom figures! WHOOP!)

Awesome customs guys!!

Drat! Just came from Target and they restocked the avengers pegs , saw a kid with 2 skrulls so I just missed AGAIN scarjo BW , but that is good news that there is another generation that would continue the Marvel Appreciation.

I'm more surprised that the kid had the skrull figures - especially when they weren't in the movie.

He probably wants some cannon fodder i.e. Chitauri for his Avengers to beat up and since we still haven't seen the Chitauri hit the pegs, he's probably just gonna substitute. Yeah, if you can't tell I'm looking forward to the Chitauri figures. ;)

Travis King 06-16-2012 01:18 PM

Added movie Hawkeye and Black Widow avengers figs to my BST.

The Spidey Dio is from the old 90's cartoon. Just go on ebay, and look up Spider-man playsets

Hey, Hey, it wasn't for me I have a daughter not a son...lol :D. JK. Have to admit, I've had my daughter getting excited and pointing out figures I don't have yet. "Daddy, you don't have him. Don't you want him?" Course I guess I'm as bad with her Skylanders or Moshis that she collects.

Haha, thanks man!

For real though, if you're of good character and willing to be a friend to those in need, Toyark is the place to be. I appreciate this place and the people here (as well as all of the little plastic men). Sometimes I get irritated at myself for lurking here for too long.

I did the Union Jack/Magneto leg switch today and I'm glad I did. Who knew a 5th of an inch could do so much? I'll post pics after rollerderby.
