EBay. That's without shipping though.

Really? 'Cause I'm not finding any deals like that with my searches. Are you outside the USA?

Here's one $10 on shipping though which is kind of hight.
Marvel Universe Ultron | eBay

Ninjinister 10-17-2016 04:45 PM

Yeah I'd like either of the Ultrons in the MU line (both, actually), but whenever I actually have the money I forget to look for it.

Ah, okay, that's likely to rise since it's a bid. I prefer to pay the price that looks good right upfront, so I look for buy it now deals. That might change once I have a stable job/income(there are factors right now that are keeping me out of the hunt at the moment), but for now, I avoid bids.

Kernel 10-17-2016 06:37 PM

I just checked out of curiosity and the 5 POA movie ultron keeps popping up... Wow hasbro has jumped the shark since the days of the marvel universe line.

It's subliminal messaging.

"Hey, the movie version didn't look like crap. In fact, you like it better than the comic version!"

"Hey, 5 POA is the future."

"Hey, we've got a lot more of these than we actually sold, so just buy it."

Oscarv 10-19-2016 01:18 PM

Hey guys.
I'm just wanting to share my first custom, the Punisher.
I really like the caracter in the netflix Daredevil show and i'd think that could be easy to custom.
It's a nick fury's body and coat moddified from avengers movie with a little sculpt on upper torso and a head of epoxy form zero.
hope you like.

Oscarv 10-19-2016 02:13 PM

That's very nice man, lovely work!

Sithlord1963 10-19-2016 02:52 PM

Just ordered a 6" Green Goblin BAF purely for the flame effects. QED I'll have a Goblin figure which is no use to me so LMK if anyone wants it!

Very effective.

Has anyone noticed out of the second wave of two packs the supreme power set is the hardest to find? I found one today in a barns and noble in Nebraska, but I've seen all the others in the wild multiple times. I figured the Keene would be hot for an army builder but I really expected to find the hyperions peg warming like no other.

Well, I've seen the Infinite series figure going for pretty cheap on Amazon, so I believe he pegwarmed(I don't get into physical toy aisles that often), which Hasbro would take to mean that he wouldn't sell that much, and thus stocked this new pack less.

Either that, or your local distribution sucks.

I was thinking the same thing.

kylactus 10-19-2016 09:00 PM

Can't argue with the district being shit in middle Tennessee, but I just drove half way across the country, and I've checked more stores than I can count. 19 TRUs had full stocks of of the rouge wave or at least most of the case, several book stores and others had the new two pack waves ( mostly thors and shields) but the ones that had wave 2 only had the spiders and knee. Plus the Hyperion set is the only one going for more than retail on eBay. And two times I won auctions for it ( both for 26.50 ish with shipping) the auctions were canceled. I just don't really understand the appeal is all, especially with one half of the pack being an obscure repaint of a peg warmer, and the other being obscure too.

Maybe people prefer their Hyperion like they prefer their men.

Black.

(If you want the random clip for reference, I'll gladly provide it)

Oscarv 10-19-2016 11:46 PM

Happy to see the forum has sprung back to life, excellent.

What is the story with the Hyperion 2pack??? It did confuse me a bit when it was announced. Is it just the same character that has already been released in different costume?

The original Hyperion we got in red is the original Hyperion from the reality of the Squadron Supreme, just another Superman-type character. The Hyperion that wears black is a Hyperion from a different reality which died but he was able to be saved thanks to interference from the main universe's Avengers, basically the same Hyperion but more moody. The other weird costumed Hyperion is from yet another alternate reality in the Supreme Power series where Hyperion was raised up to be a government controlled super-weapon.

LordMudd 10-20-2016 08:42 AM

The black Hyperion's cape is wrong. You could probably fix it with a Thor cape.

It's two per case, the others are three pre case.
Hasbro must of had less confidence in it selling as much as Captain Marvel or Spider-Man.

I'll bet the after market panic is being artificially generated.

I was just looking at the Marvel Select Dr. Strange in the other thread and it occurred to me if you had an extra Vance Astro head you could use it to make that in 4" scale.

Rightfully so... Hyperion was the peg warming champ of the single carded figures. It's too bad they didn't pack in other squadron supreme members like dr spectrum, power princess or a more batmanesque nighthawk, heck even everybody's favorite whizzer!
