^ Discount too? Nice. And just my OCD, but I don't like when they put "Marvel's" in front of the name on some of them. LOL.

Jerseysteel 04-12-2017 04:45 AM

I was happy that they made Dormammu considering the SDCC exclusive set was So expensive. I would like to see more villains get made, maybe they should do a boxset

Without it being a convention exclusive like last year's SDCC set. A brick and mortar box set I'm fine with. After so many of last year's set have been released carded I'm kind of hoping that the set this year is nothing I want (and at the same time, something I want so I can have it lol)

But yeah, we totally need more villains and a box set would be great. What we really need is a box set of female villains....let's get Moonstone (the con release or classic), Selene, Morgan Le Fay, a better Viper, Typhoid Mary....hits most of the various corners of the Marvel Universe...

Harbinger 04-12-2017 07:12 AM

Or have a female villians wave ala the old toybiz villians wave that had funky lookin onslaught in it.
It could be Selene, Morgan le fey, typhoid mary, madame hydra, judith chambers ( with a modesty poncho as not to upset whinny soccer moms n such ), serpent society diamondback with baf titania!

Found the whole wave after work a couple of weeks ago at Walgreens with a discount. It was a good day.

GodDAMN, dude. Lucky break! How much of a discount?

Loki was only in one other movie after The Avengers so far, and Hasbro didn't do any Legends figures for it. They did some cheaper 3.75 inch figures for it but that was it.

That would work. I'm pretty much going to buy any female villain they release. Even if I've never heard of them. BAF Titania would be great...we've got a she hulk mold that needs to be used again and she would be perfect for it.

He's been in two Thor films and an Avengers movie. That's 3 movies.

I know. That's why I said he was only in one other movie after The Avengers.

This Jimmy Hudson news would make one of my dreams come closer to reality - a legit team-up of Laura, Jimmy, and Rina (Wild Thing of MC2). Please, Marvel, make it happen. Especially since we haven't heard much from the MC2 universe after Secret Wars.

(Psst, Hasbro, if you're listening, making Jimmy Hudson and Wild Thing in the Legends line would be aces, too!)

It would also be nice to get a X-23verine in Legends form as well, of course. She's one of the replacement legacy characters that actually makes sense and I can see sticking around in that identity, regardless of what OML/616 Logan's future (or non future) holds.

HELL YAH! Iwant both of those and unmasked heads to go with.
Maybe the wolvie wave will be wildthing, hudson wolvie, an x-23 laura ( her new xmen outfit needs to be out before herlauraverine outfit, my ocd demands it haha ), animated suit wolverine, maverick, classic sabertooth and baf could be albert.

Yeah, but at this point, I figure it's a no-brainer that we'll get one. We've gotten the majority of other modern legacy characters (Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales Spidey, Sam Alexander Nova, Kate Bishop Hawkeye, and Sam Wilson Cap, with Jane Foster Thor later this year), so I figure Hasbro has Laura Wolverine already on the slate, if not for 2017, then definitely for 2018. Hopefully an Amadeus Cho Hulk, too.

If they don't, then what fools these Hasbros be.

TheBlueMarvel 04-12-2017 11:51 AM

Personally, I'd prefer a 616 James Hudson (with Flight in tow) to more Wolverine-people (outside of Laura - I've always liked her and Daken)...

I'm all for seeing some Alpha Flight, though I'm also a whack-job who prefers the Exiles' version of Heather Hudson over the main universe one.

TheBlueMarvel 04-12-2017 12:30 PM

@BB

Not totally whacked...Exiles was one of my very favorite modern X-books and I found that Heather to be very compelling, but I also like 616 Heather...

Alpha Flight...YAAASS! I hate how in either scale we have 3-4 members and they've just not bothered with the rest. And that it's some different members no less! Like...give us the entire main team in one scale or another!!! (like the Defenders)

Going back to vehicles for Marvel Legends figures, they can def take over a shelf. I have the Batman Animated Batmobile and the thing is huge.

As awesome as this would be, I just don't see a whole wave of female figures happening soon. Though, I do commend Hasbro for testing the waters with the A-force boxset. Unfortunately, I feel this set will either make or break anymore chances at full female inclusive sets of figures. I truly hope it sells well.

All of the films including Loki were from before Hasbro included movie figures in their Marvel Legends branding, hence the lack of figures. Before the re-branding, Marvel Legends were pretty heavily comic-based. Now we get a good mix of comic and film, sometimes a little heavier on the MCU depending on the film.

I Love that Batmobile. I sometimes put Punisher in the Batcave.

Yeah dude, one of my shelves is just about dominated by that thing. I wish it was a tad smaller.

donmeca2020 04-12-2017 07:41 PM
