So what non-616 comic figures (meaning not including game/TV/film/etc.) figures have they come out with in this scale? Here's what I've got (Ghost Spider is a custom, natch). It looks like Spidey takes the lion's share (especially if you count Ultimate Scorpion, and of course we've got Ultimate Pete and Miles coming). Iron Man and Cap get a couple each... and then Maggie gets one. Who else is there? Am I missing any?

Oh, I know I'm missing Hawkeye because the effer is never around here. I forgot he was based on the Ultimate version though.

Which one's Ultimate Thor?

And Nick Fury is movie version, just based on Ultimate. In other words, he's Earth-199999 and not Earth-1610.

LapuLapu 06-19-2012 06:29 PM

Ultimate Thor is the bearded Thor with mjolnir that looks like Beta Ray Bills stormbreaker ( not sure with the name ) from the Avengers line.

FancyPants 06-19-2012 06:36 PM

Got my odin all setup. My wife did all the work though, so credit goes to her. Been wanting this setup for a long time.

COOL TOY REVIEW: Hasbro Avengers Battle Hammer Thor Figure

Enjoy!

You should come to Canada, we got tons of Ultimate Hawkeye, retailers overordered the first wave. At this rate, we'll never see BW and Renner Hawkeye.

shortysben 06-19-2012 06:46 PM

HA HA HA, someone is trying to sell that x-factor pack on ebay for 150$....

THAT's Ultimate Thor? I thought it was just Hemsworth.

Yeah I do think driving/flying up north just for a toy is a bit extreme :P All of our retailers keep rerstocking first wave Avengers but I've still never seen a Hawkeye. Methinks someone keeps cherry-picking him out.

I'm also inthe same area, Ninjinister, and I'm seeing the same thing(or not seeing it). I've yet to see any of the new wave Avengers and I still haven't seen any Hawkeye's, new wave or old wave. Did we not get him?

As for the X-Factor box set, I'm sure it's going to be a little hard to find but ultimately there will be enough for all of us. I fall into the group that wants it. In fact, I'm pretty excited about it.

Remember, a lot of us here were really excited for that Wally Avengers 4 pack. Now it's everywhere. I returned the 2 I bought for arkers (nobody wanted them) and I saw 2 more on the shelf.

Ninjinister 06-19-2012 07:13 PM

Hmm I guess not ever reading Ultimate, I just don't know when a figure is just in an alternate costume and not their Ultimate version.

What's the diff between MA Centurion and regular Krusty-O edition?

@Pants: Sleipnir doesn't have enough legs man!

Marvel Adventures Centurion is just an Extremis/Pentagon armor painted red & silver.

Ninjinister 06-19-2012 07:19 PM

This is all very interesting information, thank you, guys!

It was actually really simple. She heated the helmet with a blow dryer and pulled the plastic nub out with tweezers. Dunno how she shaved the plastic around the helmet to fit snug though. This ones perfect. I just get frustrated easily.

She wants to seperate my wolverines claws for me. The astonishing wolvie. His claws are together, I want them apart.

Was going to heat those as well and use a razor blade to separate

kaiju Geek 06-19-2012 07:44 PM

The 2099 books were retconed into an alternate future. So, technically Spidey 2099 is not 616.

mikefavata 06-19-2012 08:10 PM

8 more years until Arno Stark takes over lol.

It's some sort of conspiracy.

That's... why he's in my group photo. Did I miss something or did you derp?

kaiju Geek 06-19-2012 08:47 PM

Missed him, that's what I get for skimming.

Very cool pic. I definitely think the horse and helmet add on to that figure. When black knight comes out, it's going to be flying horse next.

not only did you make great use out of the sinister mold for a super skrull, you've also done up a really good basic black suit ultra poseable spidey. Well done my friend, well done.

Aside from the ultimate avengers you missed, you pretty much nailed it.

Glad I came close. I'm not like "collecting" alt reality figures in specific so I'm not going to go out right away and nab what I missed. I just was looking through my boxes and started wondering what all was out there.

Looks like Ultimate universe gets the most love, and that's understandable. I'm really surprised that there are no AoA figures yet. It's really popular and as of right now pretty important storyline-wise (was the subject of one arc in Uncanny X-Force recently, and more tales take place there, as well as that arc leading to an AoA spin-off - not to mention AoA Kurt joining the team). With quite a few of the characters just being simple repaints and/or headswaps I would have thought there would be at least a couple by now. Hm... maybe we'll see at one of the cons coming up.

God, if anybody had any of the giants OTHER than Bill or Skrull GM for a decent price, I'd jump on it.

Not clownin' on you, rod. You got what you got and I'm certain there are plenty of folks interested in Mr. Foster. I'm just Bad Luck Brian when it comes to those figs for some reason.

(Please tell me Herbie doesn't count as one of the 4 for $20)
