At everything else just wow..

Final warning. If we have to do another mass clean up in the thread, it will simply be closed and no replacement thread will be permitted. We try to let these threads run a natural course, but clearly that is no longer working here.

Sorry for the poor photography on this- the pics were pretty last minute...better ones to come!

More pics can be seen in the Customs Completed thread.

I agree, i prefer doing the 3 inch, tricky work but funner to do and i doesnt get annoingly fustrateing lol. but gotta make ends meet someway so i make them here and there.

Those are both awesome sentinel customs , heres one I tried before they made the MU sentinel just a simple repaint though not as awesome as yours guys .

I, at one point, was thinking of doing a MVC Sentinel. Still might someday.

guys please lets keep on topic. if this thread gets shutdown it will be a sad day for everyone.

To keep it back on topic.. Which Iron Man armor is your default display piece?

mine is the Silver Centurion

Second the Silver Centrution. It's the only one that looks like armor he has to put on, everything else is skin tight and that just hoses up the scale issue. If I ever work up the guts, I'd like to make a Vision from Extremis Iron Man.

I own/will continue to own the vast majority of them so whatever suits the occasion just the way IM likes it ;)

I however refuse the too small armors from the first few waves

Truth be told I was on the fence about the Iron Men armors until I saw the Hulkbuster and pics of the Silver Centurion out of package then I lost my mind :D and am now buying up the comic series to keep moc as well

usagent27 06-21-2012 06:01 AM

i think the Iron Man 2 line had way better armors then the MU line. Hulkbuster is def one of my favorites. wish it was bigger though

LapuLapu 06-21-2012 06:05 AM

I have the classic Iron man from the IM2 which is a little more beefier than the MU one and I have the Bleeding Edge one so I have both ends of his evolution of armors.

LORD MARVEL 06-21-2012 06:19 AM

Advanced armor...or Extremis

I like the Silver Cent figure, but I need my IM to be red/yellow (or gold) so I go with MU Mod Armor, but I also really like the IM2 Advanced Armor IM. So it's always one of those two for me.

Just a random IM shot..

I like the styling of the advanced armor I just don't like the face/head sculpt

Thats just not true. Both lines have made some excellent IM figures.

MU's classic red and gold, IM, Extremis and Bleeding Edge are Amazingly well sculpted, have great articulation and much better paint apps than the IM line. That being said There are good figs in the IM line also, but your statement is flat-out wrong.

I didn't really care for the figure when I'd see it in people's pictures, but BBTS has been giving them away for $2.50 for months now, so I tossed one in a PoL thinking at the very least I get another blast effect, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got him. There's just something fun about the figure. ..and he can almost look all the way up, so he's pretty good for flying poses.

You're like a talk show host today.

Just talking figure, and not focusing on style, I think the best is SHS Thor. I'd say Modern Thor if it wasn't for that head.

usagent27 06-21-2012 06:49 AM

lol trying to keep the peace

SquirtleSquad7 06-21-2012 06:52 AM

Are you guys talking about the MU silver centurion, or the IM2 release?

I'm digging the colors on the Family Dollar Thor and would love for the classic Thor to be as built as the modern Thor then he would be my go to Thor

We are talking about the IM2 figure and the soon to be rerelease in the comic pack with Mandarin (god only knows why as I can't find an point when they fought and IM was in that armor please someone correct me if I'm wrong). The MU Silver Centurion was way to emaciated

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

Which Crossbones is better?

http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/18f5c2f9.jpg

I put the head that looks like Bane's mask on the single card version so I could say I did a custom.

Strangely I prefer the top half of the first one and the bottom half of the second and if I had to choose just one I think I'd go with the first because he has the cooler gun :)

I'm content with the extremis and bleeding edge armors but the others look way to small which I think has been the only complaint I'll logde at the MU Iron Men

One of the MU classic IM that I love for some strange reason is the one with the blue arc reactor that came as part of a target exclusive battle pack the paint on the figure is just incredible. here is a pic but it doesn't do it justice
