Hey guys. So apologies if this isn't the right forum and/or thread for this sort of post, but I'm thinking about putting my Marvel 3.75" collection up for bidding on ebay pretty soon. I kinda soft dropped the line around early 2015 or so and I don't really see myself coming back to it at this point.
My collection had a ton of rarer pieces and, without patting myself too hard on the back, it also had some great customs. Would anyone around here be interested in a link to the auction(s) if/when I do post these figures on ebay? |

Throw it up on here! There are "proper" ebay/sales threads, but it is so bare in here these days at least it is a good excuse to look at customs!!!
At the very least, share some collection pics and shots of your homemade glory. We all love that stuff! |
Picked up armored Spiderman today and I gotta say I like the figure. Could it be more articulated sure but it looks and feels damn good as a collector he seems very possible and as a person that seen how kids play with things he feels very sturdy like he can take a couple good hits. Definitely in my top 3 Spiderman's.

I bought 5POA Director Krennic to be like the overall supreme commander leader guy for my 3.75" bad guy shelf... I just think he looks so cool with the white cape, but now that I have him his figure kinda reminds me of the principal guy from the Breakfast Club instead of a bada** commander type. LOL. He's short too... or maybe all the SW figs are just short.

MU 3.75 - 2017 Wave 1
New wave already in the wild: Marvel Legends 2017 Wave 1 Review – Moon Knight, Maestro, Wolverine, Lady Deadpool, Iron Man, Spider-UK
|
Well damn now I feel dumb! Since they were right next to each other in all the preview pictures I thought these were comic packs.

Though didn't he get these early from a friend of a friend? That would make it less wild and more of a leak. |

yeah not really in the wild yet but it looks like they are getting closer

Really really what that Iron Man and Wolverine. I wanted the X-23 figure for ages as I love the X-kids in general and they suffer from a lack of figurage esp. in this scale, and I'll be doing a minor repaint to make Iron Man into Ironheart(as I already have enough Tonys).

Dang Walmart has the older 3.75 up on sale, wish I would have waited to grab it then, ah well, I still didn't pay full price to begin with but those deals are great.

Jay C just reviewed the whole new wave, just FYI for those who want a video review.
Btw, is the new Moon Knight freakishly tall, or is the older Moon Knight just really short? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/4R...w1280-h1920-no |

The Moon Knight/white Hand Ninja kitbash is still the best Moon Knight IMO. Never could find that white Hand Ninja though, but reg Moon Knight still looks cool if you have him do the famous Dark Knight attacking downward from above type pose.
I really want that X-23 Wolvie though. I tried to trade 5 MOC HTF Joes for MOC MU Punisher and MU X-23 at a local toy shop, but the guy refused to let go of his X-23, so I ended up with Punisher and another Joe I didn't have yet. But this was right before they announced X-23 Wolvie, so now I'm glad he refused... I like this one better. |
Soooo I just had a random idea of DIY wrist articulation.
Okay, so here's a fix I used on an Injustice Black Adam figure whose wrist broke off. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/cc...w1280-h1920-no I legit recorded a tutorial when I did it, but I haven't edited it yet, so basic explanation is that I snipped a part of a small safety pin off, and stuck it into a hole that I made with a thumbtack, and attached the wrist back on via another small hole made in about the same place(the holes are as centered as possible for obvious reasons). This essentially created a new joint that was a bit looser, but functioned as the old one did. So, my idea is this: Snip off the hands as straightly as possible, smooth the stub and the bottom of the hand a little bit for the purpose of movement, then poke a hole in both, glue a piece of safety pin into the hole in the hand, and stick it back into the stub, essentially creating a new joint. However, there are slight problems that my plan might have. Like, would the arm sculpts be compatable with the articulation, can you cut the plastic neatly, and etc. So, any problems that you can see with my idea? If it's solid, anyone have some spare fodder to try it with? |

I'm torn on this. Yes, I want Civilian suits as background characters, but I especially want Female types for the likes of Pepper Potts, Hope Van Dyne, Jessica Jones etc. The Zombie Labs line seems more in line with what I'm looking for.
