Again, I'm not farmiliar with him in the comics, but in the show he's constantly talking to the moon, and the viewer is left wondering if he's insane or legit.

I'm not familiar with the character I do seem to remeber reading he's supposed to have multiple personalities.

Thought id try something new. Make a new superhero team out of MU figures. It was more difficult than i realized, trying to find balance between avengers, mutants, cosmic, vigilantes, etc. until finding a right balance:

I like ideas like this. I sometimes do the same and add gijoes as human liaisons and support

Yeah he's insane. A lot of people in the comic business find it easiest to describe him as Batman with mental issues. Basically after dying and being brought back by an Egyptian god Marc Spector's mind fragmented to cope with this new state of being. He's best identified as having dissociative identity disorder (a severe multiple personality condition) and being schizophrenic with frequent hallucinations (unless there really is an ancient god talking and appearing to him then he's just got DID). Typically he has 4 personalities: Marc Spector (his old mercenary self), Stephen Grant (a rich playboy), Jake Lockley (a street-wise cab driver), and the Moon Knight (Khonshu's earthly agent of vengeance and protector of travelers of the night). The current volume of MK is pretty much all about how damn crazy he is and just how separated his personalities are, it's pretty weird and trippy so far.

Anybody else ever notice how comic book writers like to name their cabbies Lockley?

CCC.

CCC.

I imagine that must make cabbie meetings a little awkward.

"Hey, who was supposed to bring the doughnuts?"

"Lockley!"

*First guy punches Lockley*

"No no, the other Lockley!"

*other Lockley gets punched*

"No, the OTHER other Lockley!"

And so on.

LOL. I am exactly the opposite... Joes are my main private little army and then I use MU figs as like the meta-human support team. Well, except for my X-men MU... X-men MU are X-men.

Local Walmart had gammorra for 3.50$ so I picked up another one since I could use the body and gun for a made up character. The head and sword will be future fodder. Either trade stuff or if a custom idea comes up.

Now I want to hit cabbies and demand donuts

Yes the current book is good and you did a great MK 101!

So Hasbro presented their GotG2 spring 2017 toy lines. Have you seen that fantastic 3.75 inch line? Heroines of Galaxy 3-pack with Gamora, Nebula and Mantis? GotG2 4 pack with Starlord, Drax, Rocket and Baby Groot? 1:18 scale Milano spaceship with unmasked Peter Quill? No? NO, because there is NONE! Why am I even surprised... :( (end of rant...)

KjK 12-20-2016 05:35 PM

The state of the 1/18th articulated action figure is just poor right now. When you're looking at $12.99 retail for a 4" figure and sale prices of 6" at $15.99 with accessories, it can't make sense from the outside. At least every year there is something for us, just not everything we want.

KjK 12-20-2016 05:43 PM

Some old easy villain customs and compatible figures.

I think Hasbro is focusing their 3.75 inch efforts towards the collectors, if you take a look at the past year. Admitably, it's a bit limited(and I find the absence of Doctor Strange to be quite annoying), but it's better than the 5 POA crap. Maybe they'll listen this time and give us a few.

Admitably, though, I could care less about having them in scale, at least in movie form. I'm not overly into the GOTG movies, sorry to say.

MeLikeJinx 12-20-2016 07:44 PM

Can't blame Hasbro... that MU GoTG 3 pack shelfwarmed so long at TRU that it actually became relevant again when the GoTG movie came out years later. And then what did Hasbro do... release the exact same figs on single cards. *shakes head*

Finally saw Rogue One... I didn't like Director Krennic at all in the movie so I don't like his 3.75" figure anymore. LOL. So I just jammed his head onto the MU blue suit/black turtleneck Chameleon body... so now he's just the guy from The Dark Knight Rises who gets asked by Bane, "Do you feel in charge?" Good thing is I can give his cool cape to someone else now and he actually comes with a cool oversized futuristic cannon gun thing that I gave to my MU Bishop.

Yeah it's too bad, I mean you can get the 12" scale figures for almost the same price! It's like they are catering to EVERY scale except the 3.75" one. I fully expect it to come back around someday. I'm just glad they haven't completely canned the line, 2 waves a year is much easier on my wallet lol

I just saw it and was blown away, great movie maybe second only to ESB and I'll have to pick up krenick for that purpose lol. I did pick up a death trooper at Walmart, great figure with great articulation (3.75" black series) and he would make great custom fodder with all the parts.
Also the trailers for homecoming and GOTG 2 looked amazing.

mr marvel guy16 12-21-2016 10:58 AM

I noticed they started to show off the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Figures for the 6 inch and 12 inch waves, do you think there is a chance for some 3.75 love would love to see maybe an unmasked Peter quill. Maybe Ronin the accuser from the first film, Her. etc

So true...although Walmart rolled back a bunch of their 3.75 prices which was great, bad part I already had them :P Ah well, it's too hard to know if pulling the trigger now to get them due to very poor brick n mortar distribution as well vs waiting for them to go on sale and or being picked up real fast is another factor.

Yeah not surprised at all though...

Never happen my friend. There is, at least, hope. Seems all we have these days...

MUfan97 12-21-2016 04:54 PM

Man, I've had Spider-man and his Amazing Friends on the brain the past few days for some reason, so I took a look at pics from the 3 pack:

http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...7_orig.jpg?601

Spider-man and Firestar are alright, I guess, but the only thing Iceman has going for him is the head(and even that is questionable). I mean, just compare it to this:

http://www.spider-friends.com/Credit...ANFFiceman.gif

Iceman is WAY too skinny. Admitably, the Captain America/Daredevil body didn't exist yet, but they still could've done better than that!

Autobot_Goldbug 12-21-2016 06:34 PM

all he needs is a new ice cube torso
