in my opinion i think its a mistake, i have 2 moc and 2 loose and they all have different variations, for example ones upper body is darker black dan the lower, on another one her butt is darker black than the rest on her.

Yes, mistake. Please god, don't let minor manufacturing errors become official variants again. I just can't deal with another "short/long lightsaber" or "Boba Fett half circle glove" again, and it's been 15 years.

As far as MU goes I want all but that non variant Spidey from the posted pics and I really only want that clear Sue Storm to complete the negative zone costumes as it seems they aren't intent on making her in that costume

Thanks for the explanation. Remember way back in the series they released Ben and Johnny Storm singles in a light blue/white and blue/black outfits. I was hoping they would have sue and richard in the same colors. I can't remember what colors the reed in the comic pack was. I hope they complete those at some point.

right? knowing my luck i always end up payn on ebay for some of the variants. and for the new wave ill do the same with the variants unless bbts sends the variants with the firts release of the preoders, then ill get lucky and find the regular ones in retail.

Ok cool, thanks for checking out your figs. Hope I didn't cause a panic with anyone. The two figures I have are just obviously different.

Also - Did the Yelena version of Black Widow never make it to production as a real thing?

They both do have running changes. Electro looks like this
http://marvellegends.info/mu/series1...tro2011Rev.JPG
The 1st pic is from the 2011 revision case but I believe it is the same as the first glossy version. The second is the matte version with stamp 91391. The original glossy should be 01891 or one that begins with 0.
Red Hulks-
http://marvellegends.info/mu/series1...Comparison.JPG
Matte 01401
glossy 03121

The Blond haired Black Widow and Short Haired Redhead BW had less than a few carded samples made and never made it to production but they are real.

fallen69lee04 06-21-2012 06:49 PM

i still need a glossy red hulk, and matte electro, i believe theres a glossy and matte of the translucent arms electro one aswell but not to sure.

D00MTR0N 06-21-2012 07:03 PM

They changed from red to blue, running change. There was later a revision that added more shiny highlights, but I haven't seen that one.

Lol. They have to be mass-produced to be considered true error variants, I think you're safe.

I haven't heard of the arms matte & glossy, only a translucent Mask & hands one which was severely limited in production.

Thanks for answering my question guys , I was at marshalls and saw war machine unfortunately it was the red core oh well.

uberlad 06-21-2012 09:05 PM

I was able to score a loose Taskmaster today who was missing his shield for $4. And I saw two of the warriors 3 at a closeout store for $5 today. Even the closeout stores aren't getting the last Thor wave!

Nutty eBay merchant of the moment:

Land attack battle pack blast spider man Rhino Ice Spider man | eBay

At first, I figured maybe this was some sort of prototype since this bloke has plenty of those, but no, no mention of it being a prototype, and the figs look precisely the same as mine.

Last time I was at Toys 'R Us there was like 10 of these on clearance for $7.50. What makes this one any different?

EDIT: In retrospect, I've never seen http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Unive...item3cc72770fe this one, and it's much, much less.

EDIT 2: Another one at a psycho price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Air-Mission-...item3cc7277172

bro the Reed with ultron comic pack had the negative zone suit(dark blue/white) but if you squint you could use the 3 pack with one of the flamed on torches and you'd have your fantastic 4 that's what I've done
