Finally found the four turtles at one of my TRUs yesterday. I haven't been able to open them yet but just looking at them through their cards gives me a happy feeling that I haven't had with a new toy in a long time. I do wish that their weapons were a little better but whatcha gonna do I guess,lol.

Anyone else thinking about painting the weapons? Mostly it's Mikey's chains that I want to touch up, but I might do the same to Donatello's staffs.

Got shredder so did a review. I like him eventhough he has no articulation below the thigh joints.

Do the big ass turtles with opening shells have the same articulation as the smaller mainline turtles or less?

Did you cut the seam between Raph's fingers on his left hand? I notice yours can hold the Sai aimed forward in the left hand.

I LOVE how these come with additional weapons just like the old line.

after seeing the intro and a couple clips, think i'm almost completely sold on the new show or at least much more than the fence i was sitting on after the trailer. has a quasi teen titans feel to it that i actually really dig.

I dunno, after watching the CGI movie just yesterday I can't get into the animation design for this new toon.

My Classics Raphael came today. I originally had the set on preorder with BBTS, but since I got the four "new" Turtles at TRU and like them so much I considered passing on the Classics. So I decided to try one out and got Raph for $15 shipped w/Amazon Prime. Solid figure all around. Solid as in "great figure" and solid as in "it's got some weight to it." They're definitely a little big to really blend in that well with Legends and DCUC, but they're really nice.. and very articulated. Thumbs up. I'm getting the others.
