Same here. I promised myself I wouldn’t get into another line, but I’ve failed so far. Thankfully Target has done my wallet a favor and refused to stock anything. Good to see you’re alive and posting, lol.

I am so thankful I have no interest in Classified Joes... I think it is hardwired into my DNA that both SW and Joes should be 3.75" scale because of the vehicles and playsets. Legends is fine a 6" scale because I don't really associate vehicles and playsets with Marvel characters.

Thanks! Fun to shoot this guy- but agree 100% on this version... such an odd choice. I really think that whover is heading the Joe re-launch in 6in scale has no idea what they're doing- lots of bad and random decisions so far and we're only at wave... 2? it's hard to even say what wave we're at with all the exclusives and re-paints already.

Well winter Storm Shadow is actually an okay choice to me from a business standpoint, they sell you the less desirable variants first and then the classic versions so they can get people buying both. It's like Palisades Muppets line, you got stuntman Gonzo and Sam Arrow before tuxedo Gonzo and Sam the Eagle. The alternative is they do the line like Playmates Simpsons line, where all the main characters were in the first few waves, so everything after was just waves of background characters and crazy variants of Bart and Homer!

Yeah, I'll second Black Arbor in that while many may not care for Ninja Force Storm Shadow it does stand a better chance of selling now before the standard version is made.

I don't know how popular it is among the Joe community but I've always liked Storm Shadow's second design ('88) the most, it plays him up as more of an archer compared to Snake Eyes being the swordsman and it doesn't sport the Cobra logo.

I agree. His joe costume had more too it and wasnt just a bland sleeveless white outfit.

I've also liked Storm Shadow's second design better, I've also enjoyed it when SS and SE were both working for the Joes, didn't care much for the rest of the "Ninja Force" but SS and SE together were unstoppable! Of course, like all villains that turned good, we all know it would never last.

Pop Finder showed my Target to have 2 Baroness figures in stock on Sunday Morning before they opened. I drove out there and saw a Target truck pulling out the back. I waited in the parking lot for the store to open and went to the back and asked a Target employee if they got any Gijoes. I got lied to that they did not get a truck in. I asked another employee and got lied too again. I shrugged my shoulders and went home. I came back again this morning waiting for the store to open. Pop Finder showed they still had 2 in stock. The store opened and I went and asked an employee and there was like a commotion in the back. A manager walked out with only one product and said there was only one set. He gave it to another guy. I complained about their lack of stock.

Another Collector showed up and told him that it showed 2 on Pop Finder and wanted to know where the other was at. They said there was only one. We called them out and said we knew there was a truck yesterday and we know they got them in. Me and the other guy went to the parking lot talking about the whole mess. The guy that got the Baroness came by us and talked to us as well. He said he was using Popfinder and said the total went down to one. So there was one more left.

I called Corp. and complained and said they should get more for more people looking. I did not get ugly but let them know my frustration. I encourage everyone to do so. If Target is going to sell exclusives then they need to do better. 1-800-440-0680

If true, they need to SELL SOLID COBRA TROOPER CASES ON HASBROPULSE (you listening, Hasbro?) Just like the AIM and Hydra army builders, pack one gun in and sell them for 15 bucks, it'd be like printing money!

I agree on the Winter version, but it's not like they're not going to make more and more Storm Shadows. You'll eventually get one more to your liking.



I think they'd be fine also doing what they do for Storm/Clone Troopers and just releasing one or two every couple of waves, too, which is what I think they're going to do for now until they find out if fans really want to buy an entire case of Troopers or if it's just the "G.I.Joe is back!" hype.

A non-exclusive Cobra Trooper is no surprise, it's basically a given. Probably doesn't come with the weird goggle or squad leader arm band or something. So the Target trooper will still be special, while the general masses will be able to army-build.

When the line first announced, I told myself I'm not going into a new scale. I'm happy with my 3 3/4" collection. I ordered the Exclusive first Snake Eyes, then I'll just buy 1 of each of wave 1 to keep in box, just to support the brand, and that's it! Then when they announced the Target exclusive set, I said "good riddance", with little hope of finding Beach Head, Baroness and Cobra Trooper, I figured that'd be the end of that. Then I was able to find Beach Head, opened him up and just digging his 6" articulations...then I bought Snake Eyes, Roadblock, Duke...now I was lucky enough to be able to find Baroness and the troopers, and I've also pre-ordered the whole second wave, also the variant Cobra Commander and Destro.

I'm a G.I.Joe addict, and I admit it.

Interested to see what kind of Lady Jaye we get. Hoping for something more classic.

Are you using popfnder and are you checking with more than one associate? I had this one asshole who told me he couldn't find them but then another one brought me a Cobra trooper. Some of these associate are the worst.

Is popfinder accurate in your opinion? I keep checking it for these Target Joes but it always says 0 around my area. At every single Target.

Same for me man. Its like theres no restocks at all. Its why i am giving up on the line. Unless i run across them or get a trade im not bothering.

I wonder how they are going to make the Trooper Different from the Exclusive Version? Do they even have too and just keep it the same?

For me it has been close to accurate. Now where these go before the store even opens is another question altogether.
