I mentioned this on another thread but I don't usually price bash, this is crazy for $150.

I went to SDCC this year and Super7 and The Loyal Subjects were part of a Toys and Tariffs panel. They both said that this fall is when the real tariff hurt will happen with prices and I feel like this is an indication. Also McFarlane's $30 Mortal Kombat figures. Not nearly as crazy priced as these but they're all going up.

One step closer.
My hope has always been that Super7 starts making more IPs with orings.
While not a Universal Monsters fan, I hope all the UM fans out there buy these in truckloads.

The newest Thundercats wave went up for pre-order yesterday, but interestingly it was only King Lion-O and Red Eye. No sign of Wizz-Ra. I wonder if they're saving him for the next wave, or canceled him outright.

If this is a sign that the line is ending, at least give us one more wave with Tugmug, Turmagar, Ram-Bam and Top Spinner to complete the villain groups and add the last major ally to the Thundercats.

$65 Super 7 figures?! Eeeesh. I stopped buying when they hit $45. My Thundercats will stay incomplete.

Responding to people on Facebook asking about Wizz-Ra, Brian Flynn of Super7 said “Don’t worry.” So I would assume that means Wizz-Ra is not canceled.


I’m not so sure. With this wave of Thundercats and the latest wave of Silverhawks, they have already manufactured a set number of units, rather than the open preorder “made-to-order” method of past waves. They have also adjusted their quantities in recent years so there won’t be as much overstock.

Brian Flynn said in an interview that Wizz-Ra wasn’t ready yet, and will be in the next wave.
Also said the renders of King Lion-O were not accurate, and the final figure will have all of the Thundercat symbols on the belt.
