TF collectors have it just as bad as star wars collectors, and the scalpers know hardcore TF fans WILL pay.

Shockwave is an epic figure. I found him too, but damn if he isn't tiny. Even Deluxe WFC soundwave towers over him. He can hide completely behind a Classics seeker. Awesome figure, but definitely smaller than most previous Deluxe figures. Not quite scout small, but he's definitely close. You could almost say he's the Lockdown of scouts but at a deluxe cost.

Yeah, it definitely seems that way. I usually talk Marvel on this site, but my first toy love is the TF Classics. I have almost all of them, and like most other Classics collectors,.. I yearn for a good Shockwave stand in. I bought the DoTM SW way back when the line was first launched, but never opened him. Then I heard about FOC Shockwave and thought I'd finally stop my yearning. Nope. Now I have Baby Shockwave. I think DoTM Shock is about to be opened.

Ironically, selling my G1 collection in 2003 got me back into collecting action figures of all lines. TFs hold their value for sure.

Money was stronger when I sold off my collection but I sold 50-60 figures, all mint in very good open packaging, 100% complete.

I made nearly $8000 after all was said and done.

My Jetfire alone fetched like $600, completee with all packaging including the little styrofoam shim that was wedged between Jetfire and the cardboard hold down strap.

I got back into them during Energon, and have casually picked and chosen from each subsequent line.

I just finished up my custom FoC Shockwave, will have pics/vid up tonight! I think you'll like some of the modifications and enhancements.;)

I wouldn't mind getting Swerve and Springer. Not so sure about Wheelie, since I really liked the Legends version and that's the scale I'm used to seeing him in. And Cliffjumper is a bit of a question mark as well.

Of course, being that I would have to import these, they're all an easy pass for now.

This Voyager Prime is pretty cool looking. I was going to pick it up when I thought it was $20, but it scanned $30, so I dumped it. Since they like to ram Prime and BB down our throats I'll wait for the clearance. Max Prime seems like a fair price at $30 though ($32-$33 whatever).

that maximus toy is beast. it looks like a micromaster playset,what with all the little guys standing on it.

It transforms from a battle suit (a la Go-Bots) to a mobile command center. And at $30, I might bite. Trouble is, the only place I've seen it so far (Target) wants $45, I think.

EDIT: Oh, and Cyberverse is the new Micromaster. ;)

I agree with you totally on Shockwave, so G1 perfect yet so dang small, and what's up with his hands? Don't like any of these new WFC hands....

Dang, I like the box art for him, but too $$$ to get off of Ebay, did order the G2 version from Amazon though.
CJ total pass for me just cause he almost looks like the Prime one.
I haven't seen him, bu than again I haven't been hunting at all lately:( Def. will go well with those 2, and hopefully I can pick up a second set when they get marked down!

Since we were talking about micromasters earlier, I had an epiphany. I realized the original MMs are in scale with the Masterpiece toys. I took a photo with the twenty that i have(they didnt survive childhood very well). What do you think? Is the size off?

I think the G1 Micromasters might be slightly undersized for the Masterpiece scale, but they are damn close. MM were supposed to be about the same size as humans wearing armor. Same goes for the regular-sized Head-, Target- and Powermasters.

Even though the US fiction portrays them as the same size as their larger brethren, the smaller Headmasters and Targetmasters are actually the right scale to be considered kids (and Super God Masterforce did do this).

yeah i had to use my old DW miniseries for reference(which is a pretty good read btw) but yeah theyre basically the size of a small human.

And yeah im liking that mode for shockwave better than his space sled alt.

I thought TFC did an announcment saying they would work on not-Superion after they were done with not-Devastator.
