Gah. Nevermind! I'm leaving for the flea now. Hopefully I'll find some cool stuff like you did.
|
This would make for an interesting Arker meetup.

I went to that comic store I buy loose firgures from and bought DCIH Martian Manhunter, Taskmaster, Comic pack Magneto, First carded iron first, and Luke Cage.
I picked up Firestar for trade here. Anyone interested? I'm going back as they had a TON orf new loose stock. Great week but I'm spending my inheritance faster than I should. |
what comic store.
|
Which comic shop is that and where is it located?
|
Yeah, that was collectors corner's booth. I picked up XMO: wolverine iceman, and IM2 comic series War Machine. And picked up the first Jim Lee X-Men for 9 bucks. Talked him down from 18.
Also, anyone looking for the Bruce banner hulk chamber thing? They had one there for 15. |
but where is ittttttt? at the show?
|
If you're asking about the hulk thing, I'm not too sure. It's inside, in a middle booth. They have mostly matchbox cars, but have some x-men hanging from above. There, hanging on a pole, is the hulk. I really should've written down the booth number. My bad. :[
|
collectors corner thing is at the raynham flea market, not sure which comic shop tlasjr was referring too though.
Which Jim lee figure are you referring too? |
nah i was wondering about tl's apparently awesome comic shop lol. But im totally gonna try to get to that show sometime. Its about 30 miles away from where I live.
|
comically speaking in reading. Same place I picked up solid vision for $5 couple months back. Im heading back there now as I only had 30 on me when I went. Porbably dropping 100 or more this trip.
|
I've always wanted to go there.
|
Yeah I've heard good things about that shop but it's about an hour and 15 minutes away from me, might head there next week possibly.
|
Lol thats a hell of drive for me. I live on the edge of Rhode Island....
can i post some of my wants before you head there :) |
Sorry I missed you Bmorr. I Took pics of their remaining loose figures for mu and dcih. I spent more than $100. I can get back there this week if there's something anyone wants me to grab.

that MU selection there is miles better than toy vault. Unfortunatly i own all the figs in the pics.
|
I never answered your question about the Jim Lee X-Men, Tarooster. I was talking about the first Jim Lee drawn X-Men comic book, not a figure. :]
Raynham Flea is also good for comics. I got the Lee X-Men for 9 bucks, where the guy had it priced at 18. And it's worth even more than that. |
Not trying to be weird, but I saw you posted it in the 3 3/4 appreciation thread that it was your birthday today. So, happy birthday bmorr. :]
|
thanks man. I called up my LCS to see if the MU came in. They did not. That would have been an epic coincidence given that it landed on new comics day and all. But thanks to my parents I have a hundred bucks to spend there.
|
That's sweet man, enjoy it. :]

Hey guys, I live in CT, but I make a trip to the Raynham Flea Market once in a while. Planning to go there this Sunday so I can hopefully grab at least any of the three SDCC 2012 exclusives I need. Just curious as to which guy marks up his stuff to be on par with Amazon's prices. Is it the one with glasses who has his stuff stacked and buried everywhere? Or the older chubbier guy with the neater booth?
Last year the older guy had the G.I. Joe Zarana exclusives for a ridiculous $50 each (didn't pick them up obviously), so that's what I'm expecting to dish out this year for the two Jinx figs. And I'm hoping X-Force and Shockwave aren't more than one hundred. I've never wanted anything from SDCC so badly until now. So I'm willing to burn holes into my wallet to get these. |
The guy with the glasses just sells stuff to make a profit. They neater booth is the Online priced booth.
I don't know where you'd be able to find SDCC exclusives, as I've never been there after SDCC. You might wanna check the neat booth though. They still have some compound hulks, and those were exclusives, I think, so there's some chance they get exclusives. If you're into Joes, the guy with the disorganized booth had a whole deep bin full of joes. I don't collect, so I don't know if they were anything special. Let me know if you find anything good! Good luck! |
The guy with the neat shop with the compound hulks told me he might get some but had no idea when they'd come in, plus I expect them to be marked up a quite bit even over eBay prices. I wouldn't be surprised to see him price the moe set at $75 or more.
