It seems that all that has been released are 3.75 inch line. Anything in that scale is not worth my money at all.

My thoughts exactly, kind of surprise they released these so soon, the movie doesn't come out for another 2 months. I wonder if that's why the newer MU lines are being released so late.

Well Cap is lonely. He's a man out of time.

While scouring TRU the other day and not finding any Avengers that I wanted (namely Hulk), I did run across one of those 8" rotocast Destroyers. Best $10 I ever spent. Never saw one in the wild before. Awesome scale to the new Legends stuff.

NoodleChow 02-29-2012 03:49 PM

picked up the movie cap as my 3rd TRU freebie and i gotta say it's not terrible. head's a bit warped and sloppily painted though but it had the better looking shield which was the only thing i needed. i can forgive the lack of wrists and ankles on him but the only think i think is a damn shame is the lack of a cut waist. the thing i find interesting is how they did the hips. whoever designed them should have gotten a raise or a chocolate cake.

most of the 3.75 avengers line they released is quite dissapointing but with the 2nd trailer of the avengers movie i'm really excited. i hope it wont dissapoint us.

Artic 66 02-29-2012 05:19 PM

Has anyone tried placing the Chris Evans head of the first avenger cap figure? How does it look? Pics would be appreciated.

It IS present....pass on both figures.

Neither, at 1st it looks like a retool of the Iron Man 2 Mark VI but NOOoooooo it's a new mold that's less articulated....and already used 3 times in the 1st assortment.

Nope, because they have less articulation than Ultimate Cap.

I actually picked up one of each for all of the assortments and have discovered a plus on all of the figures... THEY CAN SIT DOWN!!!!! I HAVE LONGED FOR THIS FOR SO MANY YEARS!!! THE BALL JOINTS SEEM TO BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, ALLOWING THEM TO SIT!!!!

LOL yeah the ball hip joints on these are the best seen on any Hasbro figure to date so far. Not a fan of the previous method utilized on XMO Wolverine-First Avenger.

HA! They just need a bunch of empty beer cans and a bong,...maybe some D&D handbooks...bags of chips...

Total geek party.

itMFtis 03-01-2012 09:05 AM

Anyone find that one of Shock Strike Thor's ball shoulders is a little...off? Like it just doesn't rotate nearly as smooth as the other? Could just be a defect on mine... will try a swap at Walmart sometime soon.

I did yank his cape off as I think he looks better without it, not to mention his poseability is much better. Makes way better use of his balljoint neck. His hips and double jointed knees is how Hulk/Hawkeye/Ult Thor should have been :/

Jason Abbadon 03-01-2012 09:15 AM

Thor's balls are a little off? What about his hammer?

Yeah the shoulder on my thor felt like was going to break , tired soaking in hot /warm water, but this did not help, so just swaped it out

Can I have an Ultimate Thor and Loki please :)

Quasimodo 03-01-2012 12:19 PM

The left arm of my thor is the same way. I feel like its gonna either break, or just come out. And its difficult to move. But oh well, i move it anyway. :p Still love the figure

itMFtis 03-01-2012 12:32 PM

Thanks Quasimodo and Luketheduke04. Maybe it's not worth replacing if this is "normal" to the mold.

luketheduke04 03-01-2012 02:33 PM

no problem itMFtis
