...Craziness people I know, pure craziness, lol. But now I'm back with the picture of our "FIGURE OF THE WEEK"

So as I'm still working through the box of extra figures I have, we're gonna keep going through that till its empty (sorry MOC collectors! I'll do a carded figure in 2 or so weeks from now...) I'll be taking 2 figures at random out for the winners each week.

I can tell you that in the box there is are figures from the lines of DCUC, Marvel Universe, Marvel Legends, Transformers, MOTU (200X) to name a few....



And with that,

"Pose it UP is officially back in business!!!"

Submissions are accepted from today (6/11) until WEDNESDAY (6/13) at midnight, voting takes place THURSDAY and FRIDAY and the winner is announced SATURDAY.

*IMPORTANT* PLEASE READ!
- This week's theme is "Avengers Assembled" you do not need a reference picture for your submission. So use your imagination and have fun with it!

-General comments and discussion on submitted pictures is accepted and welcomed, but no actual "votes" until wednesday.

-Submit as many pictures as you like, but unless your post states "this is my submission" it WILL NOT BE COUNTED

*EDIT: IMPORTANT!*
I needed to go ahead and mention that the figures from my "Grab Bag" are not MOC. All are loose and most have accessories missing and paint may be scuffed, scratched, etc. (free figures though, so whatta ya expect!?) ;D

Also, for those new to the contest go back to page 1 please and read my initial post for the full set of revised rules. Thanks guys! :)

Damn you guys and your 6" stuff, picture wise 3.75 will always pale in comparison to the 6" stuff....maybe...I might need to learn some tricks, and try again later...

I like all the stuff going on in your photo but it may be more dramatic to see it from a lower perspective . The same shot with the camera lower and a little closer would be cool.

I can't seem to think of anything serious. So as soon as I find my camera, Deadpool will interrupt the Avengers movie night to show them how many swords he can hold at once.

A quick note for everyone, I finished revising the rules so read the initial post on page 1 for the changes. :)

Basically came down to 2 big changes:
-no longer require the submitted picture to be based off a comic book page/panel. All freestyle all the time!

-Removed the rule that someone cannot win twice in a row, since its everyone here on the ark voting, its up to you guys to decide the winner and if its the same person 2, 3, 4 times in a row....it'll necessitate even more creative pics to dethrone the champion then it makes for better competition! lol :)

Hehe, I wouldn't have entered it if it wasn't for the Avengers assemble theme. Why recreate what I already did was my logic. But you kinda read my mind. I'm actually looking to mirror this with the 6" Walmart exclusives too...if I can ever find them. Look forward to seeing you do it if you get the figures sooner.

Awesome shots LM! I had seen a pic of your before with that Stark head from the Mark 3 on that Mark 6 body so I snagged one off ebay to do that myself and the peg hole is a little too big.
How did you get yours to fit, epoxy or something?

Not to sound like an Ass but this thread has been down fore a while but I am very glad its back up. I am just a little upset that it is up but with a Avengers only rule? Don't get me wrong I like the Avengers but I only have the starting 6 Avengers and that wasn't until recently so if that wasn't the case I could only look and read and not participate. It was just a general thought is all. I think it should have been open to anything is all.

Rules:

1. Pictures must be no bigger than 500 x 700 pixels.
2. No slander, arguments, slurs between contestants.
3. Submission period is from MONDAY to WEDNESDAY each week.
4. Voting period is from THURSDAY to FRIDAY at 11:59 PM(, votes will be tallied on Friday night and the winner will be announced on SATURDAY morning.
6. Submission’s must be titled with: A) Username B) Date mm/dd C) Brief description of source image (title of comic, issue #, etc..)

Prize:
• The “figure of the week” shipped FREE, picked entirely by me. Could be MOC or Loose, may or may not have all accessories.

Examples:

So here are some example shots of what I’m talking about. Since the whole purpose of this thread is to A) thin my “extra” collection a bit and B) to get people to be creative with their figures and take some cool/funny pictures and have them recognized by fellow ‘Arkers.

Here’s some shots of the new ML Thor, Ghost Rider and Iron Man figures that I had some fun trying to pose like they are on the back of the box. Enjoy!

*- When I run out of figures for the contest, feel free to PM me if you are interested in taking over and giving away some of your own figures. *- If you win and do not want the figure you can request to have me take it to a charity or donation center nearby.

No Rule about it only being Marvel. Marvel is just very popular around here. If there WAS rule, it was just the criteria for the week =3.
