I've got that old Remco Sgt. Rock. It looks so out of place amongst my other DC 3.75"ers, ha ha.

Hush is up on amazon for $10.99 along with Black Mask and Arkham Knight.
|
So now that they're clearly leading up to it on Arrow if they do a TV series wave in Multiverse The Atom better be in it. I hope he doesn't look too Iron Man though.

^ I almost pulled the trigger on that set, you'll have to let us know if it any good (if you open it).
I stopped by 2 Walgreens today and was surprised to see one of them carried multiverse. They only had 2 origins batmans but I passed for now, holding out for better paint. |
working on a Clark Kent custom,
http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps5dnegx3a.jpg http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...psrx3j89ru.jpg Upgraded Hush with some MJ desert eagles and also added upper arm swivel to a few figures. I wont do every figure, just a figure by figure basis. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...psakci9e1k.jpg Arkham Knight needed to hold his rifle better, ditched the stock rifle and replaced it with a Joe rifle. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...psscqdd01o.jpg Added upper arm articulation: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...psaec6i0ym.jpg |

Seems like it would give him the slight height boost he needs. |
How are you guys adding the upper arm articulation? I did it on my Multiverse Azrael just by swapping the arms out completely (full black arms with the red pieces from the original figure glued back on). But for someone like Robin, I feel like it would be harder to match his should pads and gauntlets. Any tutorials would be appreciated!

This can also attract attention and sales from G.I.Joe collectors - given Hasbro's utter lack of anything "Joe" at major retailers. All in all, it should help justify good reasons to make updated Sgt. Rock figures. http://www.greatcaesarspost.com/wp-c...CP10_Cover.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2105/5...1183cf0265.jpg |
I'd love one of those wooden picture/poster things you can find at Ross and Gordmans of that cover.
|
Along with Superman, Mattel can also do another affordable repaint of Batman. If they do Sgt. Rock, Mattel can then do a great Batman "Statue" repaint inspired after Bob Haney's surreal DC Special Brave & Bold #8. If done right, Batman's Statue figure will also look as good as King Grayskull's Statue figure...

Got my hush and arkham knight from amazon to today. Arkham knight looks much better in person hes a little to skinny but not bad. As for hush I'd say IMO is the best figure to come out if the line so far by quite a bit. Very happy with both of them now bring in deathstroke!

Well....they are doing 3.75 inch arrow and flash figures. Not quite what I expected.
I may actually pick up the Jaws figures though. |
With Funko doing ReAction figures for Arrow and The Flash, I'm thinking that Mattel most likely isn't doing any of their own. As cool as the ReAction line is, they won't look quite right next to the Multiverse figures. I'll still probably get them, but I think I'll leave them on-card.
Should be interesting to see what Mattel has to show this year... maybe... |
Who's the other Flash figure? Is that supposed to be Eddie?
|
harley/cyborg just arrived. can the torso on these be boiled and popped? I'm asking because the torso on harley is extremely loose. she looks great otherwise (and cyborg) but man I just hate how loose her torso is.

I can't believe it appears Mattel passed on TV Arrow and Flash, or were denied. My first reaction when seeing the Funko ReAction figures is WOT.
My rant about ReAction: The retro style makes sense for TV/movie properties from the late 1970's to before 1985. But it's totally been mismatched for every property created after 1985. |
I wonder if my fear/prediction with Mattel may be coming true: They are set to drop 4" and will instead release various vehicles and playsets with 2.5" figs. Ugh!
