I was pretty surprised to find this at my local HEB (grocery store) as it appeared my area had skipped this wave completely, I had to order Deathlok online back when they came out, but I guess they found a case in the back or something. Really glad I finally got Ares because it's just a fun figure to mess with.

Nice pickup, I wish hasbro would use that buck more. The new figures are sorely lacking that torso articulation. Here are my picks up for the week:

New 3.75" MKX:

Speaking of torso articulation, spidey really could use some:

We couldn't pass on bats for $5 at Walmart:

Wow, I was beginning to think Mezco had cancelled the release of those MKX figures. I like the accessories they come with...some of them look better than the 6 inch counterparts. How do you like them?

I agree, great fig but I have never seen him on a peg in a store.

Some figs just sit for weeks/months & gather dust, I wonder if buyers just make poor choices @ times?

Some figs in any line just look like they're more prone to be a big seller.

I don't own them, but they look very nice. Unfortunately, they're around $15+.

Their nice looking but I wish they'd started with either more characters or anyone besides the main 3. I just sat in he store wondering do I really need scorpy subzero or raiden again so soon. I know I'll get them eventually but if the don't do other figs soon I don't see me rushing to get these

I totally agree with you. The figures look absolutely amazing, but I don't need the 3 of them unless we're getting more MKX figures in this scale, which is highly unlikely. They'll look out of place in my MKX display since they're obviously based off of their MKX versions, and because of the significant jump in quality between the two lines (although I still love the original line). But they're great for people who want a Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden in this scale that don't already have them since the other one's are ridiculously expensive.

Yup it is.

"True fan." The "better than you" rhetoric. The impatience on replies. The insulting remarks. It's a troll account to bait and instigate drama.

So is this a new person or perhaps some of the guys that got the boot a few years back? I really hope it's not one of the MUCCERS as most of them were pretty cool guys

Nah, this is someone not used to forum etiquette and patterns. Any of them would understand there is no immediacy to replies. The impatience factor immediately disqualifies any of them. That and they'd be more creative anyway.

I've only opened subzero so far and I like it a lot. It says it's for collectors only and not for children but it's a lot like a GI joe in terms of sculpt and articulation. I don't have any MK figures in this scale so I was happy to pick them up. I mainly collect 4" so these are a treat nowadays.

The 6" ones were like that too, surprisingly sturdy and movable for things labelled collector items. The price of these smaller ones does upset me though. The 6" ones were only like $4 more expensive but notably bigger, from a strictly logical viewpoint these little ones are confusing.

Yeah TRU definitely has them overpriced at $16.99. I was lucky to get them to price match (Amazon I think) for $12.98.

Around $13 isn't bad.
