Finally picked up Falcon Cap, Machine Man, Jane Foster Thor comic packs from Target, they're now 70% off.

I just bought the new supposedly 6 inch (she's 5 inches) discount Black Widow out of curiosity. Doesn't scale at all to Legends. 7 POA 5 inch new sculpt for $7.99. There's no way at 4 inches it doesn't sell just as many figures. Kids don't care and with 4 inch collectors there's no way. Hasbro just has abandoned the scale. It's kind of weird. They once said it was too expensive to make. Well the exact same figure at 4 inch is less materials. They could have easily sold it for $7.99. So that argument is false. Oh well.

I think we're kinda holding on, though, at least when it comes to Hasbro. There are signs of the Marvel figures getting better, even if they're not likely to return to what we had in the glory days in terms of articulation. We're still going relatively strong.


Plus, they have too much respect for the Star Wars lines of the past to let that completely die, so the scale looks like it'll be sticking around as long as there are people to root for it.


I'm thinking that GI Joe is kinda dead, though. I'm not into them myself, but I've heard that there has been a lack of new stuff as of late.

The paint paint job and the sparkly cape are my two favourite things about The Vision. Superseding any height, or body choice. The cape material (on original Vision) is unlike any other material I have been experienced in Marvel Universe.

Anytime bro.... although, I'd use Pilk, or Lionheart or Jimmy or any of the other guys here on the British Isles. I'm flakey and will forget and somehow fuck it all up. It's my lot in life.

Its great if you can't get the original just to fill a gap in a collection for an OK price but it is a bootleg ( a good one).

I paid a fair price for my original vision and I am happy to have it, this one is a nice alternative.

I did grab the Maria Hill and that now puts me at 100% (not including things like white shirt luke cage or blonde widow which I am not that bothered about)

Just need to find a galactus BAF (missed out when they were going for peanuts on ebay) and then its just whatever hits going forward

I think the paint job on Vision is one of the best - and that soft glittery cape just makes him seem great. Just a shame they put him on one of the worst bucks.

I think it's fine for anyone that can't get the original. I feel the same way about Maria Hill - if she's a bootleg, but as good as the Vision bootleg, she'll be fine.

I didn't know that Galactus BAF had jumped in price - I used to kind of want him, but since MU Galactus is bigger I was happy with him. Giant Man on the other hand, has still not been bettered for scale...

The BAF is considered by most as superior (even has articulated fingers) and looks badass.... Always just wanted the Masterworks version because it is MU. Also the BAF Galactus is 15" and the Masterworks version is 19" so that extra height is nice.

On a BAF price jump note, noticed the MODOK is way up these days. Glad I got him when we did as he is perfect scale for MU and is #Awesome all day long.

I regret trading our BAF Giant man often, got such a good trade though I can't complain. It was for mass amounts of army builders that finished off most of out armies and fed into the insatiable appetite for more HYDRA ATTACK TROOPERS. I found him for £7, best find to date! At a car boot sale (like a flea market except out of people's trunks of their cars) missing with left hand. Got a hand on American ebay though and was less than £40 all in!!! The trade was well over what would have cost me about £300 to buy here, so I went for it.... got a few good pics of him but now miss him. Would love to have him and Foom duking it out.

The Creator received these right before Christmas and could not bring himself to open until today. They are all pretty sweet and will eventually enter the Lab to be modded. Until next time.... Picked up a Living Laser and an extra Vision at another TRU. They had 3 cases out. Then I stopped at a HeB and got grey Beast, Hawkeye, sandy Sandman, and Black Cat on clearance for $2 each.
