Offhand i think only toybiz did some. Maybe the xmen movie lines...they had a few.

Damn, it's gotta be Hasbro. I can't stand the articulation that Toybiz put on hands, it looked so ugly to me.

I bought the first 50 issues of the Fantastic Four from Comixology a while back when they were on sale and I've yet to make it past the first 10. That's just how hard it has been to read them. I read the early Spiderman issues when I was in high school and it wasn't as bad as the early FF issues I've read.

I was at Walmart again today and the pegs were exactly the same as they were last Friday. Even the mess was still there.

You should see mine. Literally dozens of the Doctor Strange, Red Onslaught, Thanos, Allfather and Absorbing Man waves just peg warming. That Wal-Mart is gonna be a bust for the foreseeable future. I was fortunate enough to find that Vulture/Spider 2-pack but those are literally the only new figures I saw there.

EDIT: Also, on the subject of the early F4 books...oh my goodness it's amazing how blatant the misogyny is. It got to a point where Reed might as well have told Sue to get back into the kitchen (and he probably did at some point).

The writing too is just hilarious. Like the issue with the Hatemonger and he's revealed to be Hitler? I'm just like "OH COME ON, THAT'S TOO ON THE NOSE!" lol

Weapon X 04-28-2017 11:09 PM

That me laugh Dr. Kain. Good job. :p

Time to start going to another walmart. It just ticks me off when you go to one of them and their toy section is completely crap and not stocked or clean even..

That is mainly how my Wal-Marts are. Especially Transformers, there are 0 figures on the pegs for them.

Spyne98 04-29-2017 06:50 AM

All of my local stores are bare bones too. Nothing new, just the same stuff that has been peg warming for months. I hear that the Spider-Man wave is hitting (Homecoming wave) but no sign of them in NY.

Harbinger 04-29-2017 07:03 AM

I managed to find a non tbolts shocker but i see lotsa dr strange and older stuff clogging.

Awesome, I love Loki. But I'm curious if it's going to be Female Loki or Male Loki. I'm hoping it's Male somewhat Classic Loki. Or is it a Mcu Loki? I would be fine with that too

It's not just Fantastic Four though, but just Marvel in general for the 60s. Look at how pathetically weak Betty Brant is written. There's one issue where the Vulture attacks the Bugle and she has to take like 4 issues to recover from the shock. I guess women in the 60s were fragile little flowers that couldn't handle a tense situation.

That's the closes Walmart to me though. The next one is about 30 minutes away and they are stuffed with Odin and THanos wave figures. The only Walmart around me that tends to be up to date is about an hour away. Of course, even that Walmart never got in Falcon last year.

My current assumptions for both Loki and Hela are that they will be MCU. Hiddleston's Loki has always been a fan favorite character and would sell-out pretty quick. Also, after the Iron Man 3 comments about female villains not being "toy-etic", I see this as a chance for Hasbro to blast that stupid notion with a kick-ass Blanchett Hela.

Nice little haul from the local comic convention for under $50.

Did whoever said get any reprimanding from Hasbro for saying that?

warmachine6 04-29-2017 10:14 AM

did anyone hear about these , some look interesting whereas others not so much i wouldn't take this seriously till around the SDCC time, think hasbro has a place there not sure anymore. this was found by a facebook page called "marvel legends toy lines" imo some figures would interest me but doesn't look legit

Thanos wave? They have ironman and cap? Those are the last two i need for thanos...the legs.

TheBlueMarvel 04-29-2017 10:49 AM

@Warmachine

I like most of that list, but I hope Silver Surfer, Blade, Reed, Ghostrider & hellcycle, Man-Thing, Strong Guy, Lizard, and King Cobra are legit.

Weapon X 04-29-2017 10:59 AM

Spiderman gets way too many series'

donmeca2020 04-29-2017 11:22 AM

That spider man wave listed sounds too similar to the coming out we already found out about. Either way

Im hoping the man thing BAF is at least a larger scale one if its true.

I would agree buy let's face it, he's Marvel's Batman so he will always be front and center. Besides for a street level fan like myself if not for the Spidey waves I'd miss out on some of my favs as they sneak them in amidst the Spidey waves i.e. Daredevil and Moon Knight. Course maybe the Marvel Knights wave will be a hit and lead to another and another and so on :)
