Nice! I really envy the amount of Dark Elves you have. I was never able to army build them.

It's not the gravitating to them that's the issue in his statement. The issue in his statement is that "in his opinion, a man having figures of women is weird."

So it's fair to ask why that's weird and why in his opinion being male in particular makes that weird.

Let's just drop it before we get off topic and somebody gets banned, because I'm not sure if I remember correctly or not, but I believe it was mentioned that bans will be issued the next time we strayed off topic or whatever. We all have our own pet peeves with collecting. Let's just leave it at that.

*Shrug* Though I do have to admit I'm curious on that reasoning too now.

But I also rather not get banned while waiting for a good lighting setup to post some better customs and figure shots too. Especially after I finally finished painting the construct bots dinobots.

That statement is definitely loaded and weird in and of itself though. DTL wasn't wrong to ask for clarification.

And after this find, unless Knockout appears in the new Bayformers movie or in RiD, or somehow makes an appearance as a masterpiece, I can officially say that I'm bowing out of Transformers. Thank you for the past 20 years...it's been fun!

Oh...and despite him being an RiD (a show I personally don't care for at all,)...this Starscream is pretty awesome! He is pretty well articulated and detailed, and his alt mode has little to no kibble and is well designed. A home run for this line.

Impulse buys at Wal-Mart tonight. I went against my usual September practice of hording everything up to the month's end for a big b-day opening since these were both heat of the moment purchases and not something I'd really looked at getting before. Of course they had everybody else from the wave except for those slippery Canadians.

Two Funko figures of Bert and Ernie were utter failures and will be returned. I may be done with that company unless I can see them first in our random-ass local Forbidden Planet.

These were much better. The Scout Predator is mint and was actually found in Belfast. It's for selling. The 'cloaked' Predator is a 'Con exclusive *spits* and cost twice the price of an ordinary one as a result. Arnie there came with a gun that I'm gonna have to take a hairdryer to but the figure is awesome.

A local store is selling Top Cow Darkness figures (green outfit Jackie, two minions) - would these be worth picking up? They work out at $19 a pop in US money.

On a side note, does anyone have an alternative to Photobucket? That site is getting on my last nerve.

Imgur is the best alternative. It's really easy to use, it's absolutely nowhere near as slow as Photobucket, and I don't believe there is a storage limit. I've heard that there is one, but I doubt you'll reach it because I've stored thousand upon thousands (not an exaggeration) of photos on there and it still works fine. You can also upload pictures to it on your phone without any hassle. I believe the only con is that it's an image sharing website sort of like Facebook as well (but you never have to touch that part of the website if you don't want to) so every now and then some NSFW stuff leaks unto the front page. If you mark your account as one that doesn't want to see any mature stuff you won't see it. Any NSFW posts that aren't marked as NSFW usually get wiped out immediately, and you definitely won't see it on the front page, the screen that usually pops up when you open the website. Just make sure you're default home screen is the front page. If you accidentally make it usersub, or the page where all the new content comes in, untagged NSFW content is still rare, but more common.

Photobucket is one of the most diseased sites on the web - literally, I caught malware from it when I used a Firefox plug-in to open a PB page in Internet Explorer. Spent hours making sure I'd rid the computer of all infection.

I use Tinypic, but it's one of those sites that sometimes asks for Captcha completion. Still, it gives you a multitude of sizes without you having to tinker yourself, plus it loads from multiple sources (computer, URL, location) and has text editing etc.

Back on topic, I'm awaiting NECA Rambos and Endoglow Terminator...

Funny how just last night I was saying that I didn't find those Canadians of the X wave. I had to get some pet supplies and a new petco just opened near with an opening weekend coupon offering so after I finished there I went ahead and checked out the Wal-Mart across the way (which is not my regular local Wal-Mart but a newer one to the area). Of course this Wal-Mart has the entire X wave in stock and the entire Giant Man wave so not only do I finally get my 6" Black Panther after all this time but I also get Wolverine and Deadpool to boot. Plus this Wal-Mart isn't choking on BvS Multiverse so they had a little more diversity including just the one figure from the Doomsday wave but at least it was one of the two I wanted. I'll post open pics later in the month since this all goes to my ritual haul.

I got the most recent release of the Outer Space Men Onell Design release.

Suited up (Armorov armor)

I took this opportunity to pick up one of the regular Glyos figures Armorvor because I have always been curious if the heads fit regular 1:18 figures. I am pretty happy with the results. I also didn't realize that with my order I would end up with 2 additional heads. A Granthans and a little robot looking one.

Granted it looks funny on a regular body but It'll probably look great on a suit of armor like Iron Man's.

I never thought of it until now but that boss fight figure could work as mcu absorbing man and you don't really have to do anything to him. now I need one!

This is obviously a restoration, but it was also under $100 bucks. I'm thinking about redoing it but kinda torn.

Also got this for a custom I wanna do.

Cool now I can actually watch the 1984 Return of Godzilla in its original version as opposed to the American Godzilla 1985 which sucks.

Today though I finally found the Hot Wheel I've been looking for since Summer started.

Nice find !
I haven't hunted so hard for a Hot Wheels vehicle since the Mars Rover a few years ago, but the Yellow Submarine has still eluded me :(

I thought it was so cool when I found the Curiosity rover because I didn't know HW was doing it and then I found like 4 at once. The Snoopy doghouse they recently did was also tough to find for awhile but the re-released it.

The Robin isn't anything special, online prices are very fair right now but it was something I was looking for. I got pretty excited in the store because each of the Legends was hidden behind other things so I had to dig through. First an end-aisle display had BP stuffed in the back of his respective row behind multiple Captains and a Nuke and then Wolverine and Deadpool were on top of the aisle since the pegs were full so I had to fidget around without knocking anything to the floor. I got too psyched and swore out loud which made me feel like an asshole since I was standing in the middle of a toy aisle, luckily no kids were present.

En, how much was robin at your Walmart? Her and armored DK bats rang up for 5 bucks at the one near me, but son of batman and Superman were 20.

$19.95 to be exact at this store, at least that's what the peg was marked for and it scanned for as much but tax put it just over $20. I actually just ordered another on amazon for $17 because the one I got from Wal-Mart has a paint error. I'm sure one could argue that this factory error makes this one a little more valuable for its strangeness but since I just wanted one to actually open and not accumulate value I'd rather get a properly finished figure so this fluke will be getting returned eventually.

As you can see none of her torso buckle things have any yellow paint, I forgot they were supposed to in store and this was the only one so I didn't realize this oddity until at home.
