Walmart finally clearanced the movie Falcons so I picked one up. I like it but including his guns would have made it better. Based on this figure I'd like them to do the same deal for Vulture from the new Spider-Man movie.

Harbinger 01-15-2017 03:44 PM

Just a few random fantasy type characters. Skin tones are slightly off on a couple but all my paints finally dried up so have to save for new bottles ( which are nut kickingly expensive ).

Agree on the points that need to be returned, kinda iffy on the calves(if you're talking about boot rotation), but highly disagree on thighs(presuming you mean the swivels). I find much use in the joint when posing my figures.

Ironically my Lockjaw's jaw stays closed.

I love that lady Thor fig... I gave her WWH Hulk's huge sword and just use her as a generic Valkyrie type warrior in my display.

So I was wondering who would have been on that team if they had actually made one.

bmorr 01-16-2017 07:07 AM

im hoping to see a re-release of that lockjaw.

Tiberius 01-16-2017 11:27 AM

Thanks. I felt fosthor would make a great warrioress base. I do plan on msking a soft goods cape as the legs on mine are a bit loose and that heave rubber cape limits her poding

It isn't a variation in body style but the just the way light bounces off it I guess. Anyway... wish we could easily get them here. It is like $23 shipping for figure. Or try to snag on from a local website that NEVER restock or buy only Brown and Beige females.

Edit: cool idea MUFAN...always nice to something done with these weird gimmicky pack ins Hasbro is so fond of.

LOL about the abs thing. I actually looked it up and was scratching my head from the urban dictionary (the analyst side in me comes out sometimes):

The girl who always has a good time. The girl who is always making people laugh, and who is easily loved. The girl who is beatiful on the inside and the outside. The girl has slammin hips. The girl whose dedicated, and has a rockin family. The girl who is the best best friend ever, amazing all around!!

Nice! I'm always amazed at some of the customizers who can pull 6 different figures together to make ONE perfect version of a character. I'm too lazy for that but it looks great Feyd!

I wanted to get them all together to decide. I left out Antman and House of M Spider-man, because they had nothing new about them. There was some great character selection this year, though short on X-Men and villains. The articulation issues drive me crazy. 3 more points(waist and wrists) would make all these figures awesome. Because of that, the best figure from this year (for me) is Jane Foster Thor. Excelent sculpt on the new parts plus more than enough articulation. Anyways here's the MU class of 2016:

The villains:

Foster Thor was probably tied for my favorite along with Ulik and Gamora. The poses that the Ulik buck can pull off are amazing, I hope they reuse that one more for some characters maybe like a big bruising Venom (or ultimate version), maybe a sasquatch or wendigo, or even an x factor or first appearance beast.

I still haven't been able to pick up that new groot 2 pack, he looks great. I'm hoping to see it soon.

redx24 01-16-2017 03:21 PM

Picked up a shanna loose for a 1$. Missing her knife but the fig is other wise perfect. Also got morbius. Not gonna lie I dint want him but in hand I like him alot. Lastly picked up half a dorrrmammu for 15$ considering the its his torso mid section head and right arm not a bad start on him price wise

Universe 01-16-2017 03:52 PM

Redx24, you could always pose him coming out of a portal diorama until he's complete.

Was thinking of something like that. Really is like to get a few more if his arms so it looks like their coming out the ground to help battle multiple heroes in a dio

Feyd Rautha 01-16-2017 10:20 PM

My bad, ukmu. I'm at 32, but I did notice one of my guys has the wrong head. Going to have to get that sorted out some how.

Hydra choir.
They are hoping to go to nationals this year.

A.lose the head, loose the webbing. Add Demon Claw to right forearm and Baron von Strucker head...bam, EMH version sorted.

B.lose the head, loose the webbing. Add Doctor Doom cape and Captain Britain head for HYDRA SUPREME

C.keep as is for Bob to accompantly Deadpool

D.just stop army building HYDRA and seek professional help

E.keep as is and use him as a driver/pilot/gunner of some sort

F.get another head jist the same as the random one and he'll be "squad leader" and if you add that second head to another "regular" body you'll have 2 each have a squad of 15 troops behind each one for photos and your sorted. Jist have them holding a differnt weapon as well maybe?

redx24 01-17-2017 10:00 AM

Maybe, but I really want the version Hasbro was supposed to release. Probably going to have to make that myself.

Maybe that, but a squad of 30 each. :D

With rocker ankles and being able to rotate the foot, calf articulation just seems superfluous to me. If there's no ankle rotation then I'm in full want for something there. As far as the thigh cut goes, it's mainly an aesthetic dislike for me since the cut, when utilized, throws off the look of the entire leg. And human legs don't rotate in that fashion anyway.

I believe that is the one we are all waiting for. They should drop any week now.
Stores are doing their resets etc.

Lionheart 01-19-2017 11:25 AM

Wasn't there supposed to be a 2-pack coming out with Ronan the Accuser? What happened to that?

Dont think so.

Lionheart 01-19-2017 12:37 PM

There deffo was - it was supposed to come out with the comic pack waves that included Groot. I've just checked. There was a pack with Gamora and Star-Lord, another with Groot and Rocket Raccon, and another with Ronan and Korath. Some of them were on eBay a little while ago, but I didn't see the Ronan pack.

Assuming they get restocked, a lot of Targets and the TRU's near me still have the last wave and swimming in it...

Yeah the costumes were a bit darker too if I remember from the 3 pack that they had a while ago.
