Thanks, thats a combination of Wolverine Origins Iceman's slide, DCUC Aqualad's water accessory, Marvel Universe figure's energy beam and DC Captain Atom's energy projection.

I went to my Walmart to see if they had any of the new Kong figures. I wasn't planning on buying any, I just wanted to see what they looked like in person. They didn't have any, but I was shocked to see that they were carrying MU figures again. They only had a couple figures each of the last wave (Ulik, Yondo, etc), but it's nice to see them again. The last time they carried them was way back in 2014, the first wave of Marvel Infinite (Hyperion, Grim Reaper, etc).

I would gladly trade these new Kong figures mine had to see MU back at my store. :(
I'm sorry but the Kong figures to me aren't that great either. I suppose one could use the monsters for Monster Island.

Oh and Hasbro is using cheap crappy plastic
normal plastic doesn't do this...
http://www.toyark.com/attachments/41...8-img_0094.jpg
I had this stored in a closed box

I've seen that white stuff before. Isn't it some kind of plastic based reaction? Think I saw the solution was putting it under a lamp or something.

I heard one needs to use a sealer to fix it.

ukmu 02-02-2017 08:31 AM

Skirt that low and boots that high it's no wonder you caught something. Eastern European mail order brides..... that shit never happens to Wonder Woman, just saying.

kostej 02-02-2017 03:25 PM

Wow! So it seems that we are getting Spiderman Homecoming 3.75 2 pack! :)

https://content.screencast.com/users...02-02_2323.png

If it is movie Spidey + movie Vulture, I would be satisfied.

EDIT: Well, title says 9cm, description says 15cm, but the listed box dimensions (210x229x38mm) seem to be for 3.75 figures 2-pack box...

Hope so. By the way what page is that I see the logo of a Portuguese TV channel there (SIC)?

They have listed some Star Wars at this size too which is really 3.5 inches. I would hope they aren't really 3.5 and really 3.75.

Ah very interesting. I guess that melts it back in. I think that is just a quick fix & won't solve the problem. Not to mention I would be scared to do that to vintage figures.
Yet consider how old that Star Wars figure is compared to Scarlett Witch. One has to expect that on figures that old but not new ones.

ukmu 02-02-2017 11:11 PM

................ BAD NEWS.............

The upcoming Spider-Man HOMECOMING figures that were leaked in the
Portugal advert is is 15cm movie plastic figures AND 9cm die cast figurines.

Grippen 02-02-2017 11:22 PM

Die cast? What a heck is that?

No soup for you.....

Hasbro tried 5 poa 3.75"-fail
Hasbro tried 2.5" movie figures- fail
Hasbro has now SKIPPED us in favour of DIE CAST- future fail

Oh, and just imagine when little Billy chucks the metal Vulture at his baby sis and it sticks in her eye. Good stuff Hasbro. Dicked ONCE again.

Even the 40th anniversary Star Wars line is ALL 6" and a few of their new die cast figurines. That film started modern toy collecting on the back of 3.75" and for the BIG? anniversary collection we don't even get a single figure.

Finally will get a super sick Ronan this summer for Guardians.....in Die Cast probably.

Grippen 02-02-2017 11:32 PM

Die cast figures please that's worse than 2.5"

Even a die cast bike has more plastic than it. Didn't see those die cast SW figures but for sure they suck.

ukmu 02-02-2017 11:38 PM

According to the front page here on ToyArk the die cast Star Wars will feature "multiple points of articulation". They are articulating metal "chess pieces" while we get cutbacks in articulation and all but the death of our scale.....

All these ghosts and I can't find a boo.

snake5289 02-02-2017 11:39 PM

Well let's just see what's been going on with Hasbro lately...Oh okay then...I'll just...

MUfan97 02-02-2017 11:41 PM

I don't even see the appeal of full diecast figures. I mean, I'm sure they're nice for vehicles and stuff, but all I care about is the durability and aesthetic of my figures, and you can achieve both quite well through just plastic, which makes it considerably cheaper than using metal.
