Since Hastings is going out of business, our local Tradesmart has now put all of their movies from 60-90% off. As such, we grabbed quite a bit from them today:

Star Wars cost me $12 but I'm still pissed that they stacked the god damn discs. Is it really that hard to just use a 3 disc case?

On the other hand, the Bela Lugosi set was 55 cents, so even if the movies are in terrible quality, we didn't pay much at all for them.

I finally found the Nova Hot Wheels car at Wal-Mart tonight. The card is a little bent on one side but it's not ruining, I'm more so just glad to have finally found it. Then at HEB I found a complete case of the new Star Wars 6" figures and picked up the Death Trooper because I didn't want to pass on one and regret it later (especially since they're a little cheaper than at other stores). It's a good figure but it is wonky tall and lanky which just looks and feels odd. Maybe this'll actually come up in the movie somehow but for the toy right now I would've preferred a trooper not built like an NBA player. I like that he has two weapons because I'm not crazy about his rifle but I do like that he has the classic Imperial pistol so it's good to have some old to balance the new.

It will. The casting for Death Troopers asked for 6.5 foot tall people with slim builds.

I went to Wal-Mart a few days ago and picked a few things up. Just happen to look down and saw the Winter Soldier figure with no build a figure piece. I honestly had no clue it was the Walmart Exclusive. I didnt even see the sticker til i got it home, but i was wondering if that was a decent find. I would have figured they were mostly bought up by now.

i've only seen winter soldier once, at 1 walmart out of 6.

Here is another recent haul. My TRU got in the 3rd wave of MU 3.75 figures and a bought them all up but for some reason they haven't restocked them. I love the new MK 3.75 figures hope they keep going with the line.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Mezco has canned all lines MKX at this point. They announced this earlier in the year.

I know tell me about it, I wince when I pay more then that, heck Walgreens has their deluxes at $20.

That Lando Calrissian! Is awesome. Wow. Black Series have been putting out recently really good Original Trilogy figures like the Sir Alec Guinness Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan and Lando will probably be must haves for me :D

I just feel like noting that the Obi-Wan is a 6" figure and actually hasn't been released at retail yet, this Lando is actually an older figure (from around 2011) and is in the 3.75" line. The 6" Lando which hasn't come out yet will be in his ESB blue cape look.

Nice! I watched a video review of the comic con exclusive 6 inch ANH Obi-Wan where he comes with the Leia hologram figure and you can hear two different versions of the message. Thanks for clarifying :)
