What is this? I know the figure. But not the version in the picture with the Iron Spidey variant like clearness.

Ha, ha!

Not true everything that we've seen, through Wave 21 and comic packs should make it to retail.

as far as anything unannounced or new is concerned, there may be no typical MU line for '13.

Don't get excited or expect to see/hear a lot at SDCC.

Some guy here says he knows some new stuff will be shown, but doesn't seem to want to share what he knows.

At least I'm sharing what I know, just not outing the people who I got that info from. So feel free to believe it or not.

It's a TRU Exclusive. They're currently in stores.

jaybird7072 06-25-2012 07:45 AM

yea i think that iron man is pretty cool, i use it as a 2099 iron man, if you have seen iron adventures it kinda looks like that iron man 2099.. but yeah iam a sucker for transparent figures :(

I still need Colossus, Jubes and hopefully the 3 pack Rogue eventually does comes out. I can live without Professor X and Storm if I have to though.

Oh and yah... I am still suffering from "I got the Grey Beast, but really wish I had a Marvel Showdown Blue Beast instead" inadequacy syndrome. LOL.

The grey beast had a better headsculpt, one of the most desired things to do os get the grey beast and have it painted blue, consider yourself lucky. I've been trying to score a grey beast for a while now with much failure. Because the upcoming beast looks like hot garbage I'd Post a pic but I'm rockin the iPad so a link will have to suffice: Munkustrap II by ~Cats-Musical on deviantART

Tell me that doesn't look like the awful beast we are getting. Who knew hank McCoy had gone broadway???

I appricate that we are getting a beast, and I will spend hard earned money on it but I will be filled with rage every time I look at it.

So if anyone has a grey showdown beast they wanna part with, hook a brother up!!!

Again, I will apologize for carrying on here.

I picked up where I left off lastnight and only recently discovered the new thread.

Finally saw the Super Articulated Amazing Spidey figure in stores. It boggles my mind that they didn't even give him ONE web pose hand, but otherwise I'm shocked how much I like the figure. He even replaced my comic-style spidey on my MU battle shelf! I have him fighting comic Lizard.

D Day 06-25-2012 08:35 AM

I'm a bit late to the partying this but My display iron man is the mark 6, it's just so freeking awesome, it's sleek lookin and it's very true to the movie, my opinion: the best 4 inch IM fig.

The only thing that could have made it perfect was a neck joint that would allow a bit more movement left and right, and had the up and down movement that allows for good flying poses.

But head joint aside, it's a all around awesome figure. Plus, it's the base for one of the most awesome 4 inch iron men, the Vibranium Armor IM, aka Cap America IM, being Americian I am fond of the ole Red White and Blue, and that armor looks so freeking awesome that if u don't have one, you should make it a goal to snag one up quick!!!

in appreciation of Marvel Universe and its 3.75 inch brothers, I am declaring a special appreciation day, Today! On this day, we go on hasbro's website and email them our heartfelt thanks for these lines. Just remind them theres a large fanbase that loves and shares these lines and want it to continue until at least the day Disney chooses a different company.

For the movie armors, yeah.

All around?

Bleeding Edge armor is the hands down winner. The sculpt is amazing as well is the articulation.

For War Machine, I really like the IM2 comic cyborg War Machine.

Dragon Prime 06-25-2012 09:11 AM

Wow, wow. I leave for a day and come back to 10+ pages of doom and gloom.

MU isn't going anywhere. There are over 60 years of Marvel history to cover and there is so much a company can do to make more figures, even if there isn't a movie or cartoon engine to push it. My only concern would be if the newer figs are going to be anything reminiscent on the new Spidey figs, but even that is a stretch seeing as how Hasbro saw to it to give us newer (more aticulated) molds of Hulk and Dare Devil to make up for the earlier figures when they were in their "infant" stage.

Side Note: I think what killed ML is trying to keep up with the BAF concept. I actually wouldn't mind if they ixnayed the BAF piece and just focus on making the figure itself that much more awsome but that is just IMHO. NTM it would make a figure cheaper.

BTW there never was an ML Doppleganger or MU Doppleganger ever made. I think it's time for this to happen Hasbro.

2 questions for you Arkers.

1. Would some kind soul please point me in the right direction to the B/S/T threads and I would like to start one of my own seeing as how I have a few figs I would like to unload. PM me on this as I don't want to flood this MU thread with nonsense.

2. Which MU figures would make good base bodies for Superman and Batman? I have both of their IH figures, and I would like to make them in MU form?

Thanks.

1. Buy Sell Trade

2. Use the search function in the Customs Section as many folks have cobbled Sups & Bats and I want to say that Namor the Submariner is commonly used

SH0CKWAVE 06-25-2012 09:33 AM

So what else is going on?

This thread needs a shot in the arm now.

Symbiote, take some new pics and entertain us!!

Has the Avenger 4-pack with the "arctic" armor Iron Man in it started to hit retail yet?

Thanks. I will be making my own B/S/T thread before the end of this week. And there are a lot of talented customizers here. It looks like I'll have to start one of those threads too.

To stay on topic, my Walmart got in more the the FF 3pks and I am most likely picking one up. I just wanted to know which MU Human torch is the best to get to go with it. I can still find the SW Torch/Wolvie 2pk, or should I look to ebay to get one.

Everyone should post pictures instead of just the eight people who do it.

I have the clear MU version, but personally I like the Comic Pack version that you're talking about the best.
