I have the clear MU version, but personally I like the Comic Pack version that you're talking about the best.

always liked your pics you have mad lighting skills

Anywhere with any 3 or 4 packs on clearance?

Dragon Prime 06-25-2012 10:02 AM

I think Hasbro need to make a newer Transparent Human torch. I passed on the first one because the torso is way to dark and the paint apps make it look like a Ben 10 toy.

I am mainly looking for any kind of 3 3/4" FF figures so costumes don't matter to me much. Plus costumes really won't matter since I am looking for a "flamed on" HT.

Maybe I should just get an MU Ice Man, add some hot glue, repaint it in clear orange and call it a day.

Anyone care to snap some pics of the ASM Comic Venom that came out recently? Would like to see some out-of-package pics showing off his scale with other figs. Thanks!

only pic i have at the moment on my phone, its smaller then the other venoms but i still seem to like this one... i dig the colors in what not.... if it had the legs from the 1st venom but with the knees of this venom, it would almost be great :)

All around?

Bleeding Edge armor is the hands down winner. The sculpt is amazing as well is the articulation.

For War Machine, I really like the IM2 comic cyborg War Machine.

I respect your opinion but I personally don't know why everyone loves that BE IM so much, I personally think it looks clunky and not sleek at all, almost like a older version before he arrived at its movie design, plus the figure itself didn't look all that cool and had my least favorite Hasbro Marvel figure feature, where the thighs stuck out wider than the torso of the figure, just below the connection point.

It made a figure that I already didn't like that much, look even worse. I have one, for my hall of armor, but the movie mark 6 armor just looks so badass that it's hard to have any other IM on display in my avengers team.

The phenomenon I described is on display in the second picture on this link:
Marvel Universe 2011 Series 1 Images

The BE armor looks cool in comic renditions, but they screwed the pooch on the 4 inch representation.

I think this news got losty-pants? I like it unlost.
This is way cool I think. WAAAAY cool! I'll buy like three of these if I can find them. I got four or five steves just for the head sculpt. I smell a civil war dio with an unmasked Peter!

Thanks Nico!

I love these toys. Off to mess around with the shelf and think about new customs. Cheers!

itMFtis 06-25-2012 10:38 AM

Thanks for the Venom pics. Yea he is a bit shrimpy :) Then again, I think MU Spidey is typically a little too tall for my liking as well.

To each his own, mate.

I have one of the most complete Iron Man collections I know and I love them all in their own little way.

Because I am Iron Whore.

Thanks bro. I have had two great scores recently on the bay. Giant Skrull and ML Abomination at sweet prices shipped. Small victories that go a long way in this hobby.

Truth. I hope to one day be able to show my collection. It's crazy cool but all boxed up. If I can get an entire day all to myself to do as I please, chances are I can take those damn pics already.

Quick question.

Of the three Ms. Marvel figures, which one is the rarest?

Short hair red outfit

Long hair black outfit

Long hair red outfit

Just curious as so I don't get killed on eBay when looking for her.

Jackieboy 06-25-2012 11:01 AM

speaking of customs, does any of the custom crowd have tutorial threads on customizing?
ive never tried it before but seeing all the good custom work you guys showcase here,is kind of inspiring. But if im going to try it,i dont want to f#@k it up,a few pro tips are always helpful :)

Ditto this. I've got two modern carols, one old carol, and one karla. The last (red suited, long-haired) I had to evil bay. Ive got a captain marvel version too! but she's a custom (ha).
On the whole they are tough to find now. But worth it. Carol is one of my favorite figs and favorite characters.

DarthDre758 06-25-2012 11:09 AM

Thanks guys.

I guess I may pass on finding her for now.

I have other priorities.
