Toyfair starts tomorrow. Based on previous years, when is any Hasbro 3.75" news/pics going to start hitting the forums?

I want to get a 5POA Bohdi Rook just to use as my substitute Forge... it has a nice headsculpt IMO.

Thanks to fellow arker the awesome lordmudd, I finally have Shanna in hand. I believe she catches me up to date with all the figures I want aside from SDCC ones.
|
Please Hasbro,
SpiderGwen Gwenpool White Tiger As of now i'd be satisfied with 3.75. |
Just saw a Marvel Toy Fair video on the 6 inch thread. Only thing New is a comic Spidey Shocker 2 pack and the new deco Spidey 2099 which I don't know if we have seen or not. I thought Tombstone was supposed to be 3.75, but they only have a 6 inch one. No new 3.75 other than Spidey 2099 which seems to be in the Jessica Jones comic wave and the Shocker 2 pack.

Shocker looks great. Also two things-good and bad. Bad first- the "animated 6" line for the kids" could spell the inevitable doom for beloved scale. I know every year at Toy Fair and SDCC someone is ALWAYS shouting Chicken Little and the sky is falling and this is surely the end of days. I don't know if THIS is the writing on the wall, but it seems likely with these our scale could become redundant to the powers that be.... Also, they all had on LEGENDS T-shirts on. I know our 3.75" are also now under that umbrella term...but we all KNOW what they are talking about. Lastly, when he introduces the ML 6" he calls it the "bread and butter" of their Marvel license. True, but it still stings to hear. Bad medicine. Now the Good!!- he ended on our ML 3.75" and seemed to be withholding as there is "more to be revealed" at Sunday's press conference. He also mentioned SDCC reveals. Perhaps, and this is speculative, seemed to be hinting at major news for us! Could just be a wash to end the video, but it sounded to me that perhaps there is still life in the old line yet! Seemed excited and hopeful at the end, to me at least, for the future of our line! And movie/classic two packs can't be a bad thing to tie into what we are already getting!! I am happy all n all. |

The new Spider-Man 2099 suit is a little jarring sure but I'll definitely grab one when I can.

And don't you know it Autobot Gold! Same situation my way, The 6" figures (dolls as some of our own have said) seem to gather actual dust at their exaggerated price point. Meanwhile, 3.75" flies off here! Star Wars and Marvel sell out at the smaller scale here while the larger scale sits and sits. Perhaps it is just more of it and it only SEEMS that way to me (Mandela effect) but that is how I see it as well. |

Admitably, I'm a little disappointed that we aren't getting a Tombstone, but that two pack still looks good. |
Makes me wonder what they use to butter their bread?

Soooo the old conspiracy theory is Hasbro prefers 6 inch scale. I mean we went from everybody making 3.75 to the scale almost dying out. Justification was 3.75 was for kids or plastic is too expensive to make 3.75 and more money is made on the 6 inch scale. Well the kids lines debunk both of those justifications. We have kids 6 inch scale so that scale is not just for collectors. Also we've got articulated and decently sculpted 6 inch figures going for $8. While they may not be the style we are used to, most of us would by these figures in 3.75 as is. Sculpt, articulation, and paint apps as is. There's is no economy where 3.75 of plastic going for $8 is more expensive to Hasbro than 6 inches of plastic going for $8. So it seems like the conspiracy theory of Hasbro preferring 6 inch seems pretty justified. It's not a collector thing anyone because the kids line is 6 inches. It's not a price thing because 6 inch figures are going for $8. So what is it? |

Ok so Vulture is not similar to the movie but I like it. Makes a good pilot helmet. Arms don't seem to be articulated which makes it pretty much useless to me. Hope Chinese sellers stock it in quantity don't want to buy several dual packs.e
