Today's pickups, courtesy of Walmart. They also had Zack and Billy for the Legacy Rangers, but I had to pass on them for now, opting for just Kimberly, whom I'm sure will probably be the hardest of the three to find once they start hitting stores more frequently.

I mentioned yesterday, in the "Look What I Passed Up" thread, that I had spotted the newest wave of 3 3/4" SW Black figures, but passed on Jyn since I felt pretty confident that she'd be the peg warmer.
However, I spotted a couple more at another Wal-Mart tonight, and just couldn't resist. That same Wal-Mart had their 6" SW Black figures on sale for $16, so I finally relented and bought the unmasked Kylo Ren. http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psdwm92pva.jpg Also, I finally found a Yellow Submarine with acceptable paint. And, I can never have too many Jeeps ! http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psd0cdkjkl.jpg |

I have quite a few of the Supernatural and Steven Universe Minis, and they're nowhere near as detailed as the GoW ones are. These figures are some of the only US-released figures/figurines that I can think of that are in any way comparable to Japanese Gashapon figures, and I LOVE Gashapon figures (but only have a few since I'm not much of an anime fan), so I really hope that Funko continues to add more and more licenses to their Mystery Mini line-up. |

We recently received some packages from BBTS, Hasbro.com, and a few from Hobby Link and ToySanta in Japan. Lets have a look-see...
-A couple of the new NECA Cinemachines and a 3A String Diver from BBTS. -Pumpkin Nightmare skeleton gashapon sets from ToySanta! -The retro Micronauts SDCC Box Set from Hasbro. -An assortment of Revoltech Assemble Borg Nexus figs from Hobby-Link Japan. Thanks goes out to theArchivist, who posted the Pumpkin Nightmare pics and links to ToySanta. Glad I managed to score myself a set just in time for Halloween! :) |

Saw this at Target today for $12 and picked it up. I've never seen it before, but I really need to add more movies to my Neo Noir collection, so I couldn't pass on it.

My Walmart got the new Black Series Krennic and C-3PO so I picked up 3PO for now until I find the Walgreens one. They were also marked down to $16 so that was nice. |
I had some coupons to both TRU and Barnes & Noble today, so I snagged this duo between the two stores:
http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psgtoditgn.jpg Now I feel like I need to get all of the accessory packs and Boswer. God dammit! But then, it's not like I didn't expect that to happen. |

Some of my recent pickups. My phone's acting up so I'm using stock photos.
Really digging my figuarts super saiyan son gokou awakening. Questions to the power ranger fans out there. I got my first legacy figure (Blue Ranger) only one my Wal Mart had. I really like the fact that you build the zord with only 3 figures. How do these compare to the figuarts Power Rangers? Are they in scale? Is the articulation similar? I'm kinda hoping these are just domestic re-hashes of the Figuarts without as many accessories. And if not how far off are they? On a side note, I get my Ultimate Jason, Ultimate Freddy and Alien Day Ripley exclusive on Tuesday! Psyched and can't wait for them to get here. |

These particular Legacy Rangers are in a 6 inch scale, and are much more economical in terms of cost, as outside of the helmets, each figure is essentially a repaint of another. The articulation on them is REALLY good though for the male rangers in particular, and while they may not be at Figurearts level, they are right up there with Marvel Legends. |
