Oh those are still cheap here. $9.92 at Walmart.com
plus ship to your local store for free
I think that is probably cheaper than ChinaBay.
I have a few I need to repaint.

Nice team pics Hag. I like everything you got going on there. I know it sent most likely what you want and perhaps you missed it, but there is a 3.75" Strange Astral Projection movie figure that can be picked this spring for around a tenner.... looks similar enough, especially when they are clear. Food for thought.

I don't think Mysterio gets enough respect. He's a classic villain and in the Old Man Logan universe he's the one who tricked Logan into killing the X-men, that's hardcore. In the main reality he tricked Daredevil into killing a baby, that's f***ed up. Plus you gotta love a villain who's such a showman, literally.

I will replace the gold one for this one. Would prefer to have the gold, maybe I can swap, will hafta see. Also, I get why some would like the new classic look Kraven, it is just that we JUST got the MU Kraven one week ago...Finally, and he is SUPER badass. Just really cool all around, super articulated AND not one but two weapons.

Like I said though, Vulture-yep, LOVE the new paint deco, Mysterio-yep- LOVE the new paint deco, Sandman-maybe, ours the stripes are not painted on the back and I'm still on the fence about the shiny look, Doc-pass however, the purple WOULD look good if the team were in a small shelf under a print of the original cover. Elektro-pass, great paint for sure, but already have the MU clear hands variant, and Kraven- pass BUT again, would look really cool on a small floating style shelf on a wall beneath a print of the original cover..... in fact, I just talked (typed) myself into that! I will get the set, swap a few into our collection, and put the others in a small little thing somewhere in the house. Mama UKMU doesn't like toys, but I'm sure I could get away with that little display.

Moving on.... red/orange/orange-red... he is cooler than the purple one I have, so I will get him to head swap.

Can someone (looks at En Sabah) please tell me about HYDRA CAP? I don't want to Google or wiki him, but would like to know first hand if I should get him for the ole HYDRA gang.

Oh and to DJ Pilky,MIX MASTA JAY, I have an extra couple of the ARMOURED SOLDIER #15 figures in the comic variant colours. No ATTACK TROOPER #12 figures in the comic variant colours though.... basically the same thing except for a brown body harness....

The Entertainer has those Captain Marvel packs on sale last time I checked.

kellerw1025 02-20-2017 09:37 AM

The Spider-Man from the sinister six pack totally reminds me of a toy biz super possible Spider-Man I got when I was very young(and totally still have!) so I know it doesn't look the best for our scale but it definitely has the power of nostalgia in its favor.

I couldn't agree more man I think as a child and than still as an adult I loved that at the end of the day he didn't have super powers but the fact that his mind was his weapon and he was still able to give spidey a run for his money was what made him such a stand out character to me

MUfan97 02-20-2017 12:12 PM

Yo, watch this. (6:30 is where you wanna go)

Marvel Hasbro Interview New York Toy Fair 2017 - YouTube

Yep. Only two waves this year...

JonTron - WHAT (StarCade - Atari Games) - YouTube

I mean, I wasn't expecting a billion waves like they squeeze out with 6 inch every year, but STILL! 3 would at least show that there's still some respect for it!

*Sigh*...I'm honestly not sure what to think about this. The figures improve, but the way they treat the scale does not. Are we gonna go Star Wars Black series here and eventually be stuck in only occasional releases exclusive to a single store?

(Not a slam on the 3.75 Black series, as the figures are actually quite nice).

I LOVED that toybiz marvel line. I used to have a venom equipped with a talking back pack that woul day "I want to eat yo brains". All the adults thought it was hilarious when I was like hey man that's some serious shit don't laugh!

Also had a wolverine that had a removable mask that doubled as a commitment ring that was always lost.

Red Skull used Kubik, a living cosmic cube, to change Steve Rogers' memories of his past so that in his new state he is a HYDRA agent who was friends with Helmut Zemo as a kid and has been playing a long game to seize power. The upcoming event Secret Empire is the culmination of HYDRA Cap's work. From a story perspective it is actually kinda fascinating but I still hate the way Marvel made it seem like a genuine retcon that Steve was always a HYDRA mole.

Bluenope 02-20-2017 03:29 PM

Ukmu, think you might want to think about it. En Sabah did a good recap on it, but following the writer Nick Spencer on twitter(and Civil War II The Oath ending) looks like Cap is going to be taking out everyone to become the ultimate Hydra.

I have mad love for my 3.75 collection and honestly love the scale but those toys were awesome because they had so much variety it was a great time to grow up and love action figures

Agree! But starting to lose it's appeal for me a little bit. I may start to be very picky in it since they're not offering us much.

MeLikeJinx 02-20-2017 04:39 PM

When MU was at its peak... say around the time of the Commander Rogers mold... and ML was still using the molds with the ball joints that connect to the hip (hate those at any scale, so ugly)... IMO MU was better than ML. I mean MU Cable is still one the best figures ever made IMO. But now ML is so far ahead of MU it is unreal... I mean just look at the current Chris Pratt headsculpt compared to the first version from the first movie... it is like night and day.

EDIT: The best thing about the 3.75" scale though is that it is much easier to kitbash and customize at that scale IMO... and that is where a lot of the fun is.

For sure. I've made a lot of my own figures including a Batman Beyond, Chris Redfield, and various Mortal Kombat characters all thanks to figures in this scale. And I've wanted a GI Joe sized Chris Redfield since I started playing Resident Evil way back when. The Toybiz figures were great growing up but it just wasn't the same.

Guess it's good for you, then, that there are only gonna be TWO WAVES this year!

I would gladly skip the Sinister 6 and Guardians boxsets for another wave.

So have we seen all the figures then? Or is there still a wave to be revealed? Essentially we are getting a MCU wave with the two packs.

kellerw1025 02-20-2017 06:22 PM

Hey man I'm easy to please I'm cool with sinister six pack

snake5289 02-20-2017 06:55 PM

Is there any chance that they'll change the movie Vulture's head before it gets released? It being different doesn't really bother me but the actual look from the movie (...and the 6 inch figure) does look way cooler.

I feel the same way about Ghost in the Shell... would kill for a 3.75" super articulated Motoko. Just have to make due using Reactive Armor ROC Scarlett for now. I do want those Figma Motoko Kusanagi figs though, but man... they are kinda pricey... and will probably get more expensive when the live action movie comes out.

MUfan97 02-21-2017 12:34 AM

Edit: Wrong thread
