Saw two vulture/spidey packs at Walmart yesterday. meh. They're still there AFAIK.

Nitelife, that sucks. It seems it may be next to impossible to track that asshat down, but I hope somehow, they do. I have never understood why people steal from people. I understand the actual direct why - it almost always falls back to just needing money (short of those who just actually want the thing they are stealing.) Sadly it's usually either money for food or drugs. There are other options for the first and the second...well to each their own opinion but I just can't understand that either.

For me it was because I don't have a Vulture in my collection. He is supposed to be my place holder until they relaese a classic version. Unfortunately, he just flat out sucks between a non-existent ab crunch, a bobble head, and wings that don't have any type of articulation whatsoever.

Weapon X 05-14-2017 12:14 PM

Guys, what would you say are the chances of us getting a Spider-man Noir figure?

If those "leaked list" rumors are true, he's coming in the Spidey wave after Homecoming. Being that he already received a figure for the smaller line, I'd say that we will see him soon enough, although I don't really understand the big deal over the fever for him.

Weapon X 05-14-2017 12:28 PM

Thank god. Yeah the small fig of him came out forever ago. He's so cool looking, I've been wanting a figure of him since Shattered Dimensions came out.

Im with ya there...though i hhhhaaaaatttteeeeddd those damn levels. The controls just werent really set up for a stealth game and the camera was not always friendly. Call me old fashioned i like color....even in the noir-verse. :)

I really like the Vulture figure, I think Hasbro did a great job on the color, sculpt, paint and using a great mold... I don't think Vulture is worth 40 bucks, but in time, I think he will be worth 40 and then some...Plus, the only other version of Vulture, that I think is cool, is the one from the old Toybiz box set, think it was Spider-Man vs Sinster Six or something the box set was...And, the Spider-Man in the set, well at least he is in a new deco, which I prefer over his twin in the Space Venom wave, and the extra accessories are interchangeable between the two figures, which if I recall was not able to happen with some Spiderman figures who have share similar molds...The Spiderman is growing on me, only because I didn't buy him in the Space Venom wave....But, in my opinion, the set is a keeper until a Classic Vulture is made, But I still think Vulture is bad ass looking, especially with the helmet on...

I feel ya. I just like the idea of it, and I'm hoping the figure looks like the game version cause I think it had the best costume design.

i recall someone nabbing the 2 pack for $25 bucks on here... too bad everywhere near me has them for still $40 bucks.

Question for everyone that has any knowledge with this. Well i will be very soon losing my Computer/toy/comic room. My son is due at the end of July. anywho im curious but does anyone keep their legends figures and other collectibles in a room without central A/C ? my 2 options are moving them into a "florida room" which i have in the back of my house. which is basically a room with a ceiling fan and a small plug in wall A/C unit or i might have to move them to my parents house back into my old bedroom...

They'll still be shelved on their ikea billy shelves but im afraid the temperature change might damage them? is that possible?

If anyone has any legends they can spare, figures, bafs, baf parts...anything will help. Pm if you can help. Thanks!

I'm not seeing your typical theif going after figures (toys basically). Sounds like this could have been someone who knew of his collection and how much they sell for. Most thieves want electronics, jewelry, and cash.

We're assuming it was but thanks to places like ebay and that one guy who had the toy collector show ( whos also a total dill weed ) even thieves are stealing toys. There are a few folks he knows who mighta done it but hes still pretty messed up about it. Its why im trying to help him. Having been burglarized myself i understand exactly how he feels and if i can put a few figs back in his hands help him reboot then my best bud might feel somewhat better.

It kinda depends. If ya dump em in a tote in an attic then likely. If ya store em in a man cave or a normal room it shouldnt really do any worse than normal. My office is covered by a couple sets of curtains but on cool days i open my house up and mine havent been the worse for wear. :)

well they'll be in a room that has close to no light entering the room. other then a small window above the door. i'll probably go in there during the night have the ceiling fan on as well as the mini A/C. however they won't always be on.

Have to agree with this 100%. My house was broke into last May and they took everything except my transformers, marvel legends and other action figures. Though they did take all my boxes of comics because those are easy to sell according to the police.

Spider-Man Noir. He's a take on Spider-Man as if he were living in the 1940s and done in a Film Noir style.

Anyone else notice GOTG Vol. 2 is in stock at Dorksidetoys?

The title and description says Mantis wave, but url says Titus. Hopefully this is not a mistake. They did not have an alternative listing.

If anyone wants Ex Nilho, Adam Warlock, or Deaths Head without BAFs let me know.

I'm not sure if they are still in stock, but do know my order shipped from them already...

Penguino 05-15-2017 09:46 AM

I did not get an email reply but got a shipping notification this morning and in both emails it said Mantis wave.

Not gonna complain. Haha.

The figures have been spoken for already if anyone is wondering.

Ouch that sucks. Hopefully he reported it to the police and if anything he should check craigslist and the pawn shops in his area and what. Obviously they're going to be trying to pawn them off at the stores or online.

Oh yeah I'm glad at least in the Spider-Man stuff they've made the smaller and bigger scales of each costume so far.

So John, the owner of ToyAddicts, held a case for us when he got them, and subsequently sold us a set at cost the very same day. So we finally got the whole wave, and spent the weekend getting hands-on time with them. Quick thoughts:

Cyclops - With all the commentary about his loose straps and weirdly gappy belt, I was apprehensive, especially with how much I wanted this figure initially. While the straps are annoying, they're not a dealbreaker, and his belt looks fine if you fiddle with it in whatever pose he's in. Not amazing, but solid, and I love the headsculpt.

Colossus - Aside from a bit of fuzziness in the paint apps, I have nothing but love for him. Big, solid, and can pose quite well. I do like the bearded head a little more, but probably because I'd rather have the normal head on a classic-costumed version.

Dazzler - One of the standouts of the wave, which has been said by pretty much everyone who's gotten her. Absolutely amazed by her in every way, and the accessories are perfect.

Old Man Logan - A solid figure with nothing to gripe about. The claws sometimes have to be fiddled with to look right, but that's the nature of Wolverine figures.

Polaris - Aside from her cape coming off easily, Lorna is fantastic. I find it funny that she looks like a straight repaint of Wanda at first, but the only piece they share is the face sculpt, and maybe the hands - the rest is more in-line with the body they used for Kate Bishop. I know some people are upset with the overuse of energy effects, but I can't hate on the Kirby Crackles, even though we have three sets in the span of a year (Havok, Shocker, and now Polaris).

Shatterstar - A standout who's slightly held back from greatness. His swords and sculpted details are perfect, but ours has some sloppy paint on the legs where the black and white meet, and one of his legs has some loose joints. The lack of a fencing/"roll the dice" joint in one of his hands also hampers my excitement for him a bit. Still great, but could be better.

Sunfire - Solid. No gripes for the figure itself. The flame accessories can be a little loose sometimes, but they were designed for Iron Fists hands, not Sunfire's. A minor issue.

Warlock - HOLY GOOD GOD. I think I may have found my BAF of the year. His hoses can be a little impeding for his articulation, but they don't look bad if they're hanging loose, either. Seriously, this figure is fantastic. The sculpted detail, the paint wash, the size, the head... it's all amazing. Warlock is definitely one of the top figures this year, at least for me.

Likely will be a couple of toy reseller stores. Sad thing is they dont adhere to the rules about buying. Theyre supposed to get the buyers info and whats being bought but the place that " just got over 113 new figs in is" likely the place. They also stole a couple customs i made fo him so if the place has em ill know it. ;)

lol He's already been punched...but, MAN...a Spidey-powered jewels-shot would not bode well for future generations of Krave-sters! Talk about epigenetic trauma! ;)
