Saw two vulture/spidey packs at Walmart yesterday. meh. They're still there AFAIK.
Nitelife, that sucks. It seems it may be next to impossible to track that asshat down, but I hope somehow, they do. I have never understood why people steal from people. I understand the actual direct why - it almost always falls back to just needing money (short of those who just actually want the thing they are stealing.) Sadly it's usually either money for food or drugs. There are other options for the first and the second...well to each their own opinion but I just can't understand that either. |

Guys, what would you say are the chances of us getting a Spider-man Noir figure?

Thank god. Yeah the small fig of him came out forever ago. He's so cool looking, I've been wanting a figure of him since Shattered Dimensions came out.

Question for everyone that has any knowledge with this. Well i will be very soon losing my Computer/toy/comic room. My son is due at the end of July. anywho im curious but does anyone keep their legends figures and other collectibles in a room without central A/C ? my 2 options are moving them into a "florida room" which i have in the back of my house. which is basically a room with a ceiling fan and a small plug in wall A/C unit or i might have to move them to my parents house back into my old bedroom... They'll still be shelved on their ikea billy shelves but im afraid the temperature change might damage them? is that possible? |

Anyone else notice GOTG Vol. 2 is in stock at Dorksidetoys?
The title and description says Mantis wave, but url says Titus. Hopefully this is not a mistake. They did not have an alternative listing. If anyone wants Ex Nilho, Adam Warlock, or Deaths Head without BAFs let me know. |

I did not get an email reply but got a shipping notification this morning and in both emails it said Mantis wave.
Not gonna complain. Haha. The figures have been spoken for already if anyone is wondering. |

So John, the owner of ToyAddicts, held a case for us when he got them, and subsequently sold us a set at cost the very same day. So we finally got the whole wave, and spent the weekend getting hands-on time with them. Quick thoughts: Cyclops - With all the commentary about his loose straps and weirdly gappy belt, I was apprehensive, especially with how much I wanted this figure initially. While the straps are annoying, they're not a dealbreaker, and his belt looks fine if you fiddle with it in whatever pose he's in. Not amazing, but solid, and I love the headsculpt. Colossus - Aside from a bit of fuzziness in the paint apps, I have nothing but love for him. Big, solid, and can pose quite well. I do like the bearded head a little more, but probably because I'd rather have the normal head on a classic-costumed version. Dazzler - One of the standouts of the wave, which has been said by pretty much everyone who's gotten her. Absolutely amazed by her in every way, and the accessories are perfect. Old Man Logan - A solid figure with nothing to gripe about. The claws sometimes have to be fiddled with to look right, but that's the nature of Wolverine figures. Polaris - Aside from her cape coming off easily, Lorna is fantastic. I find it funny that she looks like a straight repaint of Wanda at first, but the only piece they share is the face sculpt, and maybe the hands - the rest is more in-line with the body they used for Kate Bishop. I know some people are upset with the overuse of energy effects, but I can't hate on the Kirby Crackles, even though we have three sets in the span of a year (Havok, Shocker, and now Polaris). Shatterstar - A standout who's slightly held back from greatness. His swords and sculpted details are perfect, but ours has some sloppy paint on the legs where the black and white meet, and one of his legs has some loose joints. The lack of a fencing/"roll the dice" joint in one of his hands also hampers my excitement for him a bit. Still great, but could be better. Sunfire - Solid. No gripes for the figure itself. The flame accessories can be a little loose sometimes, but they were designed for Iron Fists hands, not Sunfire's. A minor issue. Warlock - HOLY GOOD GOD. I think I may have found my BAF of the year. His hoses can be a little impeding for his articulation, but they don't look bad if they're hanging loose, either. Seriously, this figure is fantastic. The sculpted detail, the paint wash, the size, the head... it's all amazing. Warlock is definitely one of the top figures this year, at least for me. |
