I picked up a couple of late X-Mas / early birthday gifts for myself today :p

He was expensive, but I knew that if I passed on the opportunity to snag this guy, especially one still in an unopened box, I'd never forgive myself.

I got SOOOO lucky with this find too !
I hesitated and missed out on this Power Girl Bishoujo when she was first released, and after her price skyrocketed, I thought for sure I'd missed my opportunity.
Even though she was still pricey, I stumbled into a great opportunity, and didn't have to pay the $180-$200 price that PG is selling for these days.

The Post Christmas Haul. I actually snagged the clear Strange, Enchantress and movie Strange Marvel Legends as well but I already opened them up and put them somewhere.

Gotta love not caring about something showing up by Christmas. I snagged the special edition blue Xbox One S with the three games in the photo, $80 worth of Microsoft gift cards and 3 months of Gold for $287 off of Microsoft's site on Christmas Eve. That deal CRUSHED any deals I could find on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Ordered this on amazon the other day since it was a bit cheaper than the lcs would've charged. Overall I like it. The sculpt is pretty good, the paint is mostly well applied, the captain's chair is great, and the swap-off limbs do a fair job of replacing articulation (with an extra torso you'd have two Khans). The downsides for me are that the paint on the alternate angry head's mouth is sloppy with his teeth having a pink tinge and it was way harder to change out his arms than it should have been, it really didn't help that he is packaged with his crossed arms which one can imagine are the hardest to remove.

I ordered a case of this wave from Dorkside. BUT most of the Vintage Stock stores near me got in one case of the Revan wave in store and they flew out the doors.

So far the Wal Mart exclusive Scarif Trooper I have found at 1 store and there were 4 left at the time. I did not even get a case at the Mart I work at!!

Fred and Kelley are the ONLY new figures in series 2 ( or 1.5 revision case if you like. The Chief, Locke, Elite Zelot, and Helioskill are all repacked in new tray layouts for the "Series 2". The Zelot has his helmet on and the others are posed in the middle of the package instead of off to one side. The Fred and Kelley come with new Crawler parts ( head and back piece) , but the other 4 are the same parts. So you can make a slightly different Crawler.

P.S. I have seen Fred and Kelley at TRU, Gamestop, and just last night saw them as part of the new mod reset at Wal-mart. In a full case of 8 they are both packed twice.

Today I picked up power rangers movie Alpha 5, and transformers titans return Legends Rumble. I'm nicely surprised by how much I like Alpha, the slightly odd design is actually really neat in person!

Nice haul ! And, nice find on the Sarif Stormtrooper !

When the Sarif Stormtrooper first hit stores, I probably saw close to a hundred, since so many Wal-Marts in my area received between 3-5 cases each, but now, if I were to hit every WM near me, I'd probably find fewer than a dozen.
It probably didn't hurt that the Walmarts here still have the SW Black figures on sale for $16, but those guys all went FAST .

Gotta commend playmates for making something I was actually impressed by...this is not a company I think of when the words "good toy" are spoken.

Outside of some odd paint choices (why is the upper chest silver and why didn't they pant the face of voltron?!?) they totally knocked this one out of the park at the price point.

The lack of paint of the voltron face bothered me a little too much, but 30 minutes of taping and spraying later I was happy
If only modern day power rangers zords could be this good
