^ Whoa behindthemask. First of all, that's a really good price for that Ryu. Secondly, that Hot Toys Iron Man is SERIOUS!!!!! Those toys are scary with their realism.

Thanks for the comments, I just got him the other day and in love with it, amazing toy, the guy I got him from was telling me that Hottoys is releasing a box that houses each suit with light up base, either that or a display case suitable for a basketball and dec it out into a nice dio.

I traded this local guy my 2 MIB Futurama toys of Bender and Lela and my MIB 3A Marine Bramble figure and $100 for it, broke my budget, but ironically enough like 10 mins after he left I got a call from a guy interested in some hockey memorabilia and made $85 back so really only cost me $15 lol. He is pimp and I'm glad to have him. I'll need to figure out a good spot to showcase him but haven't thought of anything yet. he's 2 big to fit in my current display case and I can't put him on top do to my MU dio... I may have to break up the dio and have the stand side by side until I get another cabinet.

I don't really collect 2 much large scale, I do have some Marvel Icons but they're pretty pricey to collect, although the line is pretty limited so it is doable. I got him mainly to be a focus/show piece for my Iron Man collection.

Ok, they are not the best toys in the world, very cheaply made. They have a few issues... But all that doesn't stop me from liking them. After coming out of the theater today from watching Real Steel, I went over to Wal-Mart and picked up the box set of these 2 bots. I would like to get them all (the big ones, the small ones, the 2 packs, and the playsets). Don't know if I can get my hands on them, since I am not going to go out of my way to hunt them down. My toy shop I buy my things from have the first wave of the basic 4" figs on pre-order.. But like I mentioned.. I want them all! lol

Same thing happened when I saw Thor I went out and picked up some of the movie figures from my Local Walmart. It's the nestalga factor, the same reason why when were kids we'd play guns right after watching an action movie. I wouldn't go too crazy on these guys, IMO they're shit, or atleast made for kids more so then collectors. The movie is 2 predictable for my likings, hence the boycott. I'm going to focus on my IM checklist and MU checklist, anything off beat is only going to be for pure love or price factor like a 100 figure for $2 at a yardsale.

Finally found MU Cap Rogers, Ultron, Darkhawk, & Submariner. Picked up Classics Lion-O and Renegades Duke as well. Pics when I get home.

Over the weekend, I was lucky enough to pick up HA Roadbuster, Cyberverse Flak, Skids and Megatron (Action Set) and MU X-23, Darkhawk and Iron Man 2020.

Also got the TF3 combo pack from Target, which comes with a code for a online coupon for $5.00 any DOTM toy purchase of $5.99 or more. And naturally, I used it to get some of the stuff above.

Are the $5 off coupons not just laying all over the place in Targets and TRU's by other people? There are stacks of these coupons all over the place.. they expire on 10/16, but have been out for a couple of weeks now. I thought they were all over the place.

Dude! I have four of those and they rock! Snap their head off, add the extra head from a Hammer Drone and repaint into commando uit drones.
Or paint the, yellow for AIM bots (green for HYDRA).

Those havea suprisingly geed articulation too: shoulder and elbow swivel, knees and hips bend...really very good for a crappy line otherwise.

Why cant Mattel do anything half this good? The Total Justice figures are a total injustice!

I took a road trip to Texas this weekend for a dog show and ended up with a few nice finds. My first three stops were at Wal-Marts and I wasn't very successful. I was looking mainly for MU, but none were to be found. I did pick up the two G.I. Joe's and the Master Chief at one. I don't really collect Hot Wheels, but it was hard to pass up on the BTTF Delorean at another WM. Finally at a Target I found the two Darkhawks and Sub-Mariner. Still on the lookout for X-23 and Steve Rogers.
