Got my GotG set in this afternoon. Much like the Doctor Strange set I really dig it. Didn't notice in any of the pics that there was a little notch to attach Star-Lord's guns to his legs and Yondu's coat looks great on Star-Lord. Some unexpected awesomeness all around with these two sets.

Now to wait for the Spider-Man set. I hope they keep these things coming because they've bee great so far.

The Spider-Man set comes with the new comic Shocker right? I saw some leaked photos of the cinematic Shocker. Since I have never him in figure form, I'm hoping it the Shocker they showed off last Con. The Vulture is his own character/figure like Falcon was packaged, right?

If the packaging is the same size as the guardians one, that Spider-Man is scrawny as hell, and short. Both things I need him to be for my scale obsessed ass.

Are the villains on a different body style than the Spider-man figures? They look more like 5 PoA versus the Spidies looking more like classic MU figures.

I think y'alls hogging the army builders is why I can't find any, myself :P

Regarding the comic-based set, Spidey appears to be using the Jim Lee Cyclops body (always a favorite) and Sgocker appears to be on the new standard male body as in Living Laser, Jonas Vision, etc.

I wish they would add articulation to that shocker bucks torso, like a diaphragm swivel at least (that can be seen on those core figures at walmart selling for $1.96).

yeah they are missing mid torso articulation
plus no wrist articulation

I'm probably alone on this but I never liked that buck on spidey. imo he shouldn't be as big as cap or cyclops. I wish they'd make a new smaller mold for him with the same articulation.

I totally agree with you, im actully happy with the base figure he is normally on eg the ironspider etc
