Haha, I was about to post something similar. I was in Texas for a week on vacation with my wife. Awesome state, awesome time, and I even did a little toy hunting. Came away with some hard to find Avengers I'll be trying to trade for the SDCC Masters of Evil set.

You guys will get 2-3 waves a head before I see the Kraven wave =3. IF I am lucky. Heck I wouldn't doubt of the wave was skipped all together.

Glad you had a great time in texas and found it fruitful in your hunts. Where in TX?

I'm hoping seattle will be as good to me as TX was to you when i'm up in Seattle in a couple of weeks.

You got a couple of comic shops to recommend?

Goodluck to trading off those figures for MOE - my thought is that if anyone has the MU MOE set, they are hardcore collectors - they probably have all the figures they want up to date.

We went all over Texas: Austin, Dallas/Ft Worth/Arlington, San Antonio, Round Rock, Frisco, and Houston. I'm a baseball fan too :)

In a couple weeks, Seattle should be nice and sunny. Try Golden Age Collectables in the Pike Place Market when doing touristy stuff, but Zanadu comics is better. Comics Dungeon near UW is dope as well.

And yeah, I'm sure that MoE set will be scooped up by the brave collectors willing too waste a day at SDCC to get one but I'm hoping 6" Wally Hawkeye and Hulk will help me.

Boba Fettuccini 07-01-2012 01:43 PM

forget it man, the Seattle area is almost always bone dry. We didn't see Commander Rogers popping up til almost Christmas.

77kustoms 07-01-2012 01:48 PM

This, unfortunately, is true. I'm not sure it's the volume of collectors or the lack of stock. A little from column A, a little from column B. But when we find the goods, we appreciate!

Well it doesn't hurt to be optimistic. Hopefully the next wave hits earlier than normal this time around for ya'll.

Boba Fettuccini 07-01-2012 03:21 PM

I hope so. I love the conveniece of BBTSing them and having them all show up at my door, but I miss the occasional fruitful hunting trip! I gave up hunting regularly because I just never found anything.
