Do we still have many hard-core MU collectors that would be interested in a 3D printed Kang Time chair?

I'm constructing a kitty of only 10 people so this thing will only be a 1 of 10 item. I have commissioned the design which will be coming straight to me to print. The design is costing $100 so each 1 of 10 kitty member will pay $10 towards the commission and $25 for the printed chair. So $35 for a 1 of only 10 items around the globe pkus shipping??? What's not to like. The item can be printed in black or light grey so a painting service will be offered for another fee. The item can be printed solid or in 2 half's. I have 5 committed spots and opening the remaining slots on a first come first serve option. This offer will be posted here and another forum. Payment will be taken ASAP and updated pics will be shared constantly with in either Facebook or email communications. Any questions PM me and hope to be collaborating with you select few shortly.

Yeah if someone brought up a Barbie or something that had missing parts or something I'd have to look real close and wouldn't still probably miss it.
Also just saw your location, great year for the game cocks! I'm pretty stoked doe my Zags.

$35 seems like a lot for a chair...

Hence why I said hard core MU collector.. Kang isn't Kang without his Chair same way Prof X isn't without his. Like UKMU said 4th from bottom.

That is the ref pic the 3d design is being modeled on.

Sorry Buddy, not for me as I only really do MCU. What I'm looking for at the moment is 3.75" reduced casts of the Jessica jones, Bernthal Punisher, Elektra, D'Onofrio Kingpin and, possibly, Charlie Cox DD heads. In slower time, I'll be looking at a Movie Thanos and Stone Throne but they are longer term customising projects.

I'm kinda interested if the chair is really gonna look like the one in the picture from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon..

Struck out at Target again... no x-23 Wolvie for me.

But did find a carded X-men Origins Wolverine Gambit for 5 bucks at a local swap meet. Always wanted one because I like the bright blue on his leg armor more than the dark grey of the comic pack version... all I gotta do is give him my comic pack head now. Oh and the Origins one came with a deck of cards accessory for him to hold... which I didn't know about before... I mean it is very simple looking, but still better than him just having his open hand gesture.

None of the official release Gambits ever did him justice. So I had to have him made the right way.

Not that big of an X-men fan, but if there was ever a Gambit that good, I'd buy him. What's the recipe, anyway?

I didn't make him, I just came up with the recipe and paid to have the work done.

But it's the standard male torso and legs, sculpted boots and collar piece, DC Hush jacket, Ghost Rider (or Long Shot) arms, and sculpted head.

I also have 3 sets of hands for him, holding cards, projecting cards, and staff holding hands.

Jay West 04-03-2017 12:45 PM

When do we think the Jessica Jones wave will hit. I have a custom that just needs her head. I'm pretty excited about it.

ukmu 04-03-2017 01:25 PM

In case you guys didn't know.... D Day has THE most impressive collection in the game. Hands down!!!! Hopefully, he will share some of his collection with us.

Jay, as far as I know there hasn't been a word about the next wave release. I'm guessing May, if memory serves from years past it seems like January, March, May? Waves 1, 2 then 3? Maybe it's just wishful thinking or I am projecting that thought.

Same. Except when I say it I get, "U WOT m8?!!!?" Like I'm from Mars or something. I know you're young but I'm old and grew up in the days of X-Men ruling the roost. Seems like any non millennial is a X nutter. I like them but the whole "mutant" thing seemed a bit much to me. Even for comic books.

That is legit awesome... Gambit was always my 2nd fav comic character behind Archangel... especially love the neck area. Have to make do with my humble kitbash though.

I can live without the blue neck area, but I really do miss his cool early 90's hairdo. Wish I had a shrink machine that could just shrink the Marvel Select version. LOL.

Well, you're not wrong.

I've been much less active on the forums lately and basically just sticking to Instagram, but I'm adding to my collection all the time and I'm still hard core MI for life.

I will never jump on the legends train.

Yeah it was essential that I had the collar area, I wanted that X-Men cartoon look as closely matched as possible.

And the hair on both official releases in the 3 3/4 Universe just makes me sad

D Day 04-04-2017 09:13 AM

Every time I see hasbro release of Vulture I get sad. I had previously commissioned one, but when the opportunity presented itself to own one made by one of the greatest in the custom game I of course had to act and bring it home.

Is that an Area body with a gun holster? How easily/difficult was the head to make fit?

Yep, Ares base with Colossus lower legs (knees down). As I mentioned the holster thigh straps need to be cut since they're too small for the Ares's thighs, so if you don't intend to do a patch job like I did, keep the cut at the back where it won't be as visible. The head on him was the easiest part. Just enlarge the hole to fit the neck ball. If you do it right you won't need any extra mods, just don't enlarge it too much.

Hey, Pilkster, who is the blue and purple guy with the Spectrum figures?

Ok, off to see the wizard... Later, guys!

I hope so I really like those figures. Have you guys seen the retro packaging on the Sinister 6? Almost sells that set and Kraven looks great.

Nice paint job on Kraven, the rest... bleh

Pilkster 04-04-2017 03:29 PM

I'm loving the mysterio paint job

Oscarv 04-04-2017 04:19 PM

That packaging is very cool indeed! Will not be grabbing it though, I'm happy enough with all the versions I already own

Huh, if those cards can separate, I might display the ones not in any display on the card...And if that Sandman is better than the one I already have, a slight swap might occur.

I also like the fact that the bubbles are minimalistic. You don't need a ton of space to put your figures, and you have more than enough room to show whatever art you might have.

Plus, this means that you spend less money on the packaging, and more on the figures.

Captain Nash 04-04-2017 08:52 PM

What a neat six pack...like some of the different colors for Mysterio, Dr. O and Kraven. I'm going to pass as I have version of everyone of these characters, but for those that don't it's pretty cool.
