Serpent Hunter is definitely the winner of the wave. I really hope we get more of the skins from the 360/PS3 game soon. Clan leader is pretty good, although I wish NECA wouldn't have stuck so close to the film version and would have took some liberties with it like they did with Unmasked Scar, as Clan Leader still looks goofy, from the strange looking mandibles, right down to those googly puppy dog eyes he had in the film. It's still an improvement from the Mcfarlane crab face, but take that what you will...

Youngblood's a straight up repaint of Temple Guardian, only having Scar's biomask instead, and without any of the cool nice shading and washes on the armor that Temple Guardian had. If I wasn't a completionist, I would have left him behind on the shelf...

Excuse me sir but that is the Elder Predator, Clan Leader is a Kenner character. :p I saw a bunch of all three of those figures the other day and while I was impressed/tempted by Serpent I'd rather hold out to see them do Dark.

The other day I showed I picked up a backup of the Colonial Marines pack and the mail one finally arrived today so I popped the better set open (I'll be returning the other later). These are pretty much Ultimate edition figures of Hudson and Hicks since they come with a barrage of accessories and alternate heads. I'm actually surprised because initially I figured I'd switch them to their helmet-free heads but I'm digging the angry heads a lot. The first versions featuring the angry heads didn't impress me but NECA changing the plastic and upgrading the paint really improves their likeness and conveys the expressions. I used to just have Ripley and Vasquez to fend off the aliens so it's great to expand the ranks. I know the figure wasn't intended as a tribute to Bill Paxton but Hudson fills that purpose wonderfully.

I bought another U-Wing around the holidays (LOVED that ship in Rogue One), and I liked it so much that I couldn't pass on this second one that I found on sale.
Hasbro hasn't really released many (any ?) memorable 3 3/4" vehicles over the past couple years (ever since the end of the TVC and Clone Wars eras), but despite the questionable Nerf gun feature, this ship is actually pretty impressive.
