I have a few older Legends. I collect 3.75" scale but have had some for years. I traded off my ToyBiz Giant Man BAF and am really missing him in my set up. Anyone have one to trade? I have a Ronan BAF that I wouldn't mind flogging off as he has been in storage for years....

I don't check this thread,so please PM me if introduced. Cheers.

Ah, that explains why those stores always seem to have better stock than those in this area. Olathe and OP stores are pretty much a joke when it comes to stock. The Targets around here have virtually no Legends anymore.

I've always had pretty good luck with the Overland Park TRU, but I usually hunt there on Tuesdays when I'm off and can go down the KC, and that does happen to be their truck day so I'm sure that plays a part in it.

The Olathe TRU used to be a nice place to hit up for some overlooked gems, but recently things have changed and I'm wondering how that store manages to still stay open.

And hopefully with the unmasked head this time.

That's odd. The picture on Walgreens' site shows she comes with a fist too.

Sue looks like Gwyneth Paltrow.

Sue comes with HERBIE and one "phasing" hand in a splayed pose for her left hand. Her left hand in box is a gripping hand (which is something more female characters need, so they can actually hold different accessories for a change.)

And settle down Nitelife...I know where you're going to go with that whole gripping hand spiel I just mentioned. ;P

In other news, Homecoming Wave has been spotted in various Wal-Marts around the country. Be on the lookout...

Unless my Walmart sells off their 19 Symbiote Spidey's, 12 Jackals, 3 Miss Marvels, and 5 Spider-UKs, I doubt they are going to get the Homecoming stuff in. Oh, and that is along with their 8 Misty Knights, 5 White Tigers, 9 Beetles, 11 Speedesters, 2 Ultimate Spider-Womans, and 3 Reily Costume Spider-Girls.

yea i always notice there are always a few female beetles, speed demons, and cotton mouths that are just constantly on the shelf at various stores...

No one wants them for christ sake. why don't they just discount them below normal pricing or send them back to whom they ordered from orginally. if its hasbro send it to them, if its another third party company send it to them. just get em out of there already.

Hell, one of my Targets still has Boomerang. Every now and then I think if I should get him but then decide not to. I'm not paying $20 for a four year old figure.

While it probably shouldn't be 20 dollars at this point, you could at least take comfort in knowing that at least Boomerang was a decent figure and would still justify your purchase, and you would clearing out space for new figures, so you would be helping out there too. Old figures need homes and love too, especially when they are still good...*cues up Sarah McLachlan music...

Disclaimer: this is more of a referendum on the climate and times in which we live, than an indictment of anything anyone has written.

Are we really calling figs made in 2014 "old?" It's sad how we live in an age that only exists in the "here & now." A culture that seems to only appreciate what's current. Even here, on a toy aficionado website, where old and new toys are celebrated, it's common to read criticisms of the very figs that paved the path for their latest ("greatest" ??? - not always) iterations. I like new things as much as the next person, but if I regarded every non-2017 fig as so much superannuated tech, then I may as well not collect at all...maybe I'll start a rental service for figs. This way, for the more persnickety collectors, they can rotate out their aging collection in lieu of the most current and shiny baubles. lol I think that might actually make money! Hardy! Haw! Haw!

...again, this isn't aimed at anyone here, per se. Yesterday, I happened to read a comment that remarked about "how well" the 2014 Carnage had held up and I couldn't help scratching my head and thinking, "WTF?"

Love the pick, hope to get a crack at the MJ/SM set...

Side note: I want the Cyclops/Phoenix so bad as well, and the SDCC looks so wicked, nice!..Don't you hate it when you try to scratch on 'Grail Toy' of your list, than Hasbro comes out with a must buy, and then the grail List get longer...Damn you, Hasbro, I'm trying to quit...lol

Technically not. It means your basest levels are operating to enough of a degree to be stimulated. It's along the same reasons that your mind may interpret art to be pleasing. Just, y'know, they're toys so keep that in mind I guess.

^ I don't see how Cyclops comes out of that situation in good shape without any optic blast accesory. LOL.

And I haven't watched either of the Amazing Spiderman movies, but I just watched Lala Land and that ML MJ headsculpt kinda reminds me of Emma Stone a bit.

Went out today on a small hunt around town. It was rather productive as I was able to find both the SP/MJ 2 pack and an Invisible Woman.
