Actually if BBTS acquired the exclusives through Normal means they wouldnt make much( even at 2x retail) when you factor in all the costs. Leads me to believe (Speculation)they have an in with someone with someone at Hasbro or working the con for Hasbro.

WalkingDeadpool 07-03-2012 08:15 PM

I think they have their employees and friends do all the foot work....And like said..Their not making that much money if you think about ticket prices, room rates ect....I have no problem with thier prices...They are pretty much LCS prices...Ebay is selling MOE set for 100..c'mon that's scalping...And if you think about it..Those who can't make it to the con,the prices aren't bad..Your saving on air fair, hotel, food tickets...You could easy spend 2k going to a con...

All prices aside I'm HAPPY AS HELL we are getting a MOE pack,Uncanny X-force pack,Clifjumper, and 2 versions of jinx......The stuff from this year is way better imo then last year....

I'm passing on the hellcarrier though...I think even Hasbro's prices are retarded for that thing..I'll get the retail one for sure though....

Employees and friends offering to stand in line for the products.

Hence the high "scalping" prices. They're paying people to wait in line. And it's not like they're getting hundreds of them. You're paying for not only the product, but the time the person spends standing in line.

Although in the Hasbro case, you're better off just trying to get it on HTS.

I just buy what I like and what looks cool. I pass on many. I don't know what suits he's had in the comics, especially with almost 50 yrs of history. But its Iron Man, he's got a ton of ridiculous suits.

Lately I've been a sucker for clear and red. And maybe the drought has me buying figures I may have otherwise passed on before. But you can't just have 1 Iron Man suit, being a man of science and technology, Tony's always updating, refining, and progressing forward. Thus, concept works for me.

Finally got Black Widow and the Ultra Posable Spider-Man. Definitely worth the wait. Minus Widow's hands and the rubber guns its a great figure. The likeness is uncanny

I've looked in kansas, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois. Tons of walmarts, targets, and tru's and have only seen two skrulls and none of bw or hawkeye. Jealous of you guys walking any from multiple skrulls. Gonna have to beg to get sent down to houston. I found a ton of my mu down there and lm seems to always have a new haul. Watch out baytown tru!
