I'm hoping, however, that this is simply the warm-up for a better MU in 2018. Perhaps a return to the Marvel Universe name in a similar manner to the Star Wars Vintage collection. Like, maybe Hasbro is realizing, "Oh crap, we've been screwing over the 3 3/4 inch collectors over the past few years, let's get our act together."


It's more likely the approaching end, knowing Hasbro, but hey, a little optimism never hurt anyone.

As long as the figures keep coming I'm ok with a rebrand or whatever... I could see them only doing 2 packs the way they have been releasing figures lately (BP and Sharon carter, yondu star lord, spidey shocker etc). I don't mind as I found a lady deadpool in the wild the other day and had to pay $15 after taxes, 2 figures for $20 is a better deal anyways. Heck even that civil war ironamn cap 2 pack sold out in my area

I'd like to see them try a line of 2 packs for Avengers. Or if they want to get crazy go $20 two figures and a BAF Thanos piece. I'd just like to see them try a movie line one more time. The potential figures for that could be awesome. I have a hard time believing if you ditch the 5 inch kids line and the 2.5 that a good line of maybe 5 two packs won't make more money.

I'm willing to pay scalper prices for the Vulture/Spidey Homecoming pack but the eBay prices are about $3-$5 more than I'm willing to go. I don't do it often but I want this set.

The lowest I've seen on eBay so far is around $40. It's dropping slowly but it is dropping bit by bit.

Patience is a virtue in some cases. Keep an eye on Amazon or something. A proper price shall present itself eventually.

The two packs are going for about £30 in the UK ($40), so there doesn't seem to be any cost savings at all to us. They seem to cost even more per figure.

What the heck? Judging by Amazon, they're supposed to go for $19.99...

We don't really get figures in Amazon unless a third party seller puts them up.... On a plus note, GotG2 has been out for a couple of days. We are about to set off to see it again, in 3D this time.
All I can say is WOW. Marvel brought their A game and smashed it!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

I'm right there with you. I have a soft spot for Iron Man since it started this crazy ride, but it doesn't really hold up that well. It's a little dated. MCU Hulk is underrated and Iron Man 3 is not as bad as the hate especially if you view the "All Hail the King" short with it. But other than that those are my favorites as well.

Great advice as my oh so crappy Target had them today. I was shocked. I got my fill and left some for the next collector or kid.

Eh, often times, 3rd party sellers are better than official stores anyway in terms of paint apps.

That piece of advice is actually how I find so many good deals online. My status of poorness makes me hold off on buying things impulsively. Granted, this has bitten me a few times, like when I waited on the Legion of Collectors first appearance Superman figure(though I did still get a nice deal on it, all things considered), but I find that the times it has benefited me outnumber the times it bit me.


That said, though, as soon as that Shocker and Spider-man pack hits Amazon, I'm getting it. It's looking to be worth $20.

Red Mandarin shouldn't be too hard for you to find. Even with the other figure, you can occasionally find deals that are more the price of a single figure. That's actually how I got mine.

Also, what do you mean by black hand ninja? Are you talking Ronin? 'Cause I'm pretty sure he uses that body...


If so, I can point you to a seller in Hong Kong that has him for $3.99 without the accesories. Shipping is slow as crap, sure, but as discussed above, patience pays off.

There was a Hand ninja in black that came in a two pack with Wolverine, it was a part of a group of Target exclusives.
