-65 overnight here, but I did a stupid and forgot to switch to my defensive team (had lvl 9 OS and lvl 6 X-23 by mistake) still comfortably in Vib.

Spec Op 9 and the alts for Iron Man and Iron Patriot are now live.

Freakout...Im going for both but for now Im happy with blaster. It makes his AOE attack really cool

I'm going to need to hustle to get enough CP for Punisher, Union Jack and the limited edition armors in time. I like a challenge though.

Both blasters for me just for the pvp bonus.

Iron Patriot kicks so much ass and I love Caffeine-Free Iron Man! Can't wait to get Rescue.

Tactician for IM and blaster for WM to give them alt classes

In other news, I really like both of the new suits and I hope to have enough to get at least the Blaster and Tach for IM and WM, respectively. I just want them for the additional abilities in PVE, but I'd love it if I can get the alt class suits too, but I doubt I'll have enough gold/CP left after this Spec Op.

I just got both suits last night and cp farming now for when fantomex comes out. We're getting a lot of tacticians and scrappers lately. I do like IM's ability to "call his boys" which is cool against pve. I haven't seen anyone use the new suits though in pvp.

I'm using the Mk 42 in PVP, swapped out Storm. I wonder how I'm defending. Can't access at work.

Hmmm so I am making good pregress towards getting Tac IM and Blaster War Machine ...starting to think it will be more worthwile to JUST get Blaster War Machine. He is just soooo much better then IM to me.

Anyone got any good tips for Isos for the new suits?

Fought a few mark 42 iron men in pvp. They kept getting a shield before every attack I made. So my damage was far less due to the stupid ass shield. And every other turn they called for back up help. Really see him getting nerfed soon if that keeps happening

He won't. Almost every character with "trigger when attacked" abilities in PVP trigger about 90 percent of the time in PvP when the AI is running them (when they're defending, in other words). Pretty sure it's Playdom's way of compensating for the AI not being as "smart" as a human opponent, but either way it's painfully clear that the AI gets the triggers WAY more often than live players. Basically for the AI if it says "chance to" you may as well read "will happen almost every time."

It's not just exclusive to the Mk 42, in other words. Now if that stuff was popping every time when YOU were playing him? Yeah, I'd expect a nerf. Though Playdom doesn't seem to big on nerfs from what I've seen.

And on that side note: Yep, the Mk 42 and Iron Patriot are vast improvements on their originals. Not only new "costume abilities" but heavily buff up the regular powers of both characters, to boot (for example, Iron Man's missile barrage inflicts both Burning -and- bleeding with the Mk. 42).

They also work very well in conjunction with each other. As far as PvP goes...if I recall correctly War Machine's Plasma Blade now gains the ability to bypass resurrection effects...He's a Phoenix/Wolverine/Ghost Rider killer.

So what is it that makes people want to change the ethnic or color from comic/movie? Savin in IM3 is white, while he's black in the game...
